Its about time. I hope they can prove Vince helped cover it up. I'd prefer that the rumor that Vince covered it up is just BS. It doesn't make sense as it was pointed out to me a couple weeks ago, why would the "wild man" defense as the story we've all heard even work? Cops wouldn't excuse a murder just because the dude is "uncivilized" seeming. Yeah... if Snuka was uncivilized or wild and didn't understand what he did... uh... that's like the legal definition of insanity.

Wow, I swear this year is karma coming back to bite pretty much everyone and everything... who's next at this point? I'm almost tempted to pull up a cast picture from Hulk Hogan's Rock 'n Wrestling to see who's still actually either alive or not unperson'd. Hogan and Snuka are definitely in deep crap. Studd, Piper, Captain Lou, JYD, Andre and Moolah have passed Sheik is Sheik That leaves Tito, Richter, Volkoff, Hillbilly Jim and Fuji in the clear, with guest stars Heenan and Mean Gene still with us too (though Heenan's not in real good shape anymore)

The deal with Vince and the "savage" Snuka was basically Vince allegedly told Snuka to stay in character until he got there, so Snuka just pretended to not understand anything the cops were asking. He wasn't jumping off the desks or anything, just pretending he didn't understand the language. When Vince got there, he was questioned by the cops (and so far as I know, that part is on record) where he made the infamous "I'm in the garbage business." remark.

So what happens next month? Dusty and Roddy die, Hogan is outed as a racist, and Snuka is charged with murder. Even if we all kind of thought he was guilty, this has been horrible year. Flair and Steamboat are the only 80s reps they have right now, I think Steamboat is safe but you never know with Flair and the dirt his ex wives may have on him.

Well this has been an interesting week for wrestling news and drama. And it's only Tuesday! For you, this has been the most interesting wrestling news and drama filled week of your life. But for me, it's Tuesday.

In all fairness I think that post is obviously under the assumption that Vince DID help and wants to see justice. Not that they hope Vince actually had something to do with it.

Not that they hope Vince actually had something to do with it. Sadly, we're in an era where it's hard to say. A good number of people now, when it comes to somebody they dislike, they start to hope that that person did something that they can be punished for, so that there's some juicy schadenfreude coming.

Slaughter, Hayes, Arn, Rotundo are all still on their pay roster. DiBiase, Bret, Foley and Backlund show up a good bit. Oh, and Lawler.

Its about time. I hope they can prove Vince helped cover it up. Why would you even want that? I get that you might not like the man and find him arrogant. I get people wanting him to step down and totally understand and even agree with a lot of the reasons. But to hope that someone helped cover up a murder is just totally disgusting. If he did then I hope he has to pay. But I honestly hope he in no way helped cover this up. As much as I would hate anyone I would never WANT someone to be convicted and accused of that. To wish this just seems totally ridiculous to me. Because the rumor has been around long enough, and if its true, if he did help cover it up, then he belongs in prison. If he didn't, then fine, no big deal. I have no sympathy for people who commit the crimes, and the people that help cover it up. I don't care who they are.

Oh I see posts every week wishing someone to get injured to have their career ended just so certain posters here don't have to be bothered by seeing them while watching an entertainment program. It's just sick. Like their entertainment level is more important than someone's life and health.

For what it's worth, here's a chapter from Irv Muchnick's book "Wrestling Babylon" outlining the Snuka deal from 1983... Snuka

If its not just a rumor, and he did help, he should be punished accordingly. Having money, connections and privilege, should not exempt him from the law.
