The next match is scheduled for one fall with no time limit! If this match exceeds ppv time, the remained of the match will be shown on the next WCW Nitro!Rusev Vudriya! Rusev Matchka!!!Roar of the LionRusev starts his walk to the ring, accompanied by Lana. He looks at the booing crowd with contempt as he slowly walks past them. He reaches the steps and hands off his Russian medal to Lana before entering the ring. Alexander enters the ring and poses towards the crowd before awaiting his opponent. As he waits, the OKADA! chants begin. Rusev simply shakes his head at them *coin drop*RainmakerThe crowd explodes as the NWA Heavyweight Champion makes his entrance. Kazuchika makes his way, taking time to highfive the fans close by the ramp before rushing up the stairs and immediately getting in Rusev's face. The crowd cheers as the ref separates the two. Let them fight!Introducing first . . . The challenger. The crowd boos. Accompanied by Lana. Weighing 136 kilograms, now Residing in Moscow, Russia, ALEXANDER RUSEV!The crowd boos louder. Introducing next his opponent . . . The champion. The crowd cheers. Weighing 236 pounds, from Anjo, Aichi Prefecture, Japan, KAZUCHIKA OKADA!The crowd cheers louder. A big fight feel in the air tonight for this one. Rusev vs Okada for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. Okada beat Rusev over a month ago to earn the shot to fight, and win that title. Many believe if Rusev won... he would've become our first ever NWA World Heavyweight Champion. It isn't about who had it first, it's about who has it now. We'll see who can pull out all the stops and leave this match at the recognized greatest talent in the United States.Alexander Rusev vs Kazuchika Okada 15 Minutes (6:32pm)

Rusev with the Russian Leg Sweep. It's far more devastating when the move is done by someone with Russia's support.

Rusev lifts Okada onto his shoulder for a running powerslam, but Okada flails his feet, floating over, and with a mighty wrench transitions into the Tombstone!

Rusev has Okada locked in the Accolade! Kazuchika struggles to break free as Alexander continues to break his opponent. Okada desperately reaches for the ropes but they are mere inches out of reach. Rusev smirks and the camera cuts to Lana with a smile on her face on the outside. Kazuchika reaches again... and gets the ropes! Rusev doesn't break the hold. The ref counts. 1-2-3-4 Rusev finally lets go.
He rises and pulls Kazuchika up... roll up from Okada! 1-2-KICKOUT!
Both men rise and Rusev swings only for Okada to avoid it. Kazuchika has him from behind and is going for the Rainmaker! He hits it..... but Rusev is still on his feet. He's stumbling, dazed, and confused... but still standing.
HE'S STILL STANDING! HE'S A BEAST!
Okada screams in fury and lunges forward with another short arm lariat. The force of this second one takes Rusev off of his feet! Cover! 1-2-3!
Rusev took everything Okada had to offer... and then some! Surviving and still standing from the Rainmaker? I can't even comprehend that. But Kazuchika was just too skilled tonight. So much talent, so much focus and determination, and tremendous training has come together to create an athlete we haven't seen the likes of before and may never see again. Kazuchika successfully retains the NWA World Heavyweight Championship!
Kazuchika is handed his title and holds it proudly in the air as the show fades with a graphic highlighting WCW's Champion, showing Okada posing with his gold in the middle, Bayley on the left removing her championship from the tank barrel and pulling her Women's Championship close to her chest, and Jay Lethal standing on top of the tank showing the world his gold.

Thanks to all who voted/promo'd/participated in the Slack! First ppv down and I think it went very well. Some incredible quality all around and I'm looking forward to seeing where a lot of characters go from here.
Monthly awards as well as October's cards will come over the next few days!

Just finished reading the show gents. Excellent showing as I expected. I was especially impressed by Fat Chance, Jay Lethal, Charlotte, Finn Balor, and Curtis Axel. Also very intrigued to where this Big Ryck thing is going.
I apologize that I haven't been around as much of late. And I did mention I was feeling burnt out, but I think I can still contribute. I still enjoy this place and until that stops, if it ever does, I'm not going anywhere.

Seeking feedback on El Patron (or any of my characters for that matter). What am I doing right, and more importantly, what am I doing wrong?
(New thread coming tomorrow, I have a project to finish.)

Didn't get to say it because I was working WAY longer than I should have been and only managed to vote when I had a few seconds to see what was going on. Great show boys! Everyone was awesome and I'm particularly glad to see Lethal and Bayley win the titles. Really dug everything from everyone. Also...
@iconmatthardy: So Son of Havoc and Fandango are a team now? Guess we know who's ending The Dancing Queens little streak. #FatChance #FutureTagChamps

Next WCW ppv is late October... about a month from now. So if you have an agreed upon feud or story/match ideas for your character, let me know! (especially if you'd like booking/commentary to help build it) If not... let me know! There's still time to try to figure stuff out and there is certainly still space on the card! EDIT: Also according to the front post Bayley is actually our tag team champions rather than Women's champion. So congratulations Bayley!
