Raw 12/10/2001 .... Jericho had a List! (of people to thank for his success at Vengeance 2001) This is like the 4th time a Jericho list has been mentioned pre-2016. Armbar.

I am watching Saturday Night's Main Event from April of 1991. It's after WrestleMania VII. Randy Savage is on commentary after the Ultimate Warrior retired him. Despite the emotional reunion with Elizabeth after the match and the big face pop it got, he still has some heel tendencies. While running down the card, he calls Sgt. Slaughter a "great American" and Slaughter returns the compliment when Savage interviews him in the locker room. He talks about how he doesn't have much sympathy for Warrior being beaten down during the match since he retired Macho at Mania (that makes sense). And when Hogan ran down to save Warrior from The Triangle of Terror and The Undertaker, Savage suggested we could see a double casket stuffing. When did Savage go full babyface? Was it after he proposed to Elizabeth? I thought the post match angle at WrestleMania VII was his face turn. It was a gradual turn, 100% completed when the wedding happened/Jake feud started.

There was once a time when King Kong Bundy wrestled... ...WITH HAIR!!! He looks like he's wearing the toupee his manager, Gary Hart wore during his GWF run. Isn't that Gary to the right?

Now that WCCW has uploaded some even earlier eps, I now know that before he was King Kong... ...he was Big Daddy Bundy, a good ol' boy from the oil rigs in Alaska, hoping to earn some money doing wrestling. Rumors have it that his outfit was far later found by Big Josh.

How, and why, were WWF and WCW still doing blackface in the late 90s? I've counted DX, Goldust and Buff Bagwell.

On the Raw after Royal Rumble 1998, Jim Cornette called Jeff Jarrett "the man to lead the NWA into the year 2000". He was only off by about two and a half years, huh?

Watching Nitro from 1998 and I just saw a Konnan match and it just hit me just how long he has been doing the same Mexican gang banger gimmick. He's even saying the same things still 20 damn years later! It's not even like a Undertaker kind of thing where this is an iconic character.

I view him as WCW's counterpart of Road Dogg (or for modern day WWE, Enzo Amore), where he did the same every week while the fans sang along.

Raw 2/6/2012, Transcribed from Jericho's first promo (from his Jeritroll run):
"I am the best in the world in everything I do and I don't have to write it on the back of a T-shirt to prove it! Because I AM "IT"! Because I live and breathe "IT"! Because I became "IT" when I became the first Undisputed Champion in the history of this business....."
Jericho steals material from himself!

The way Mike Tyson says "Bruno Sammartino!" when asked by Vince McMahon who some of his favorite childhood wrestlers were makes me think someone(probably Bruce Prichard) had to spend all day coaching him on how to say the name.

You mean because of how Mike talks or because he didn't know the name? Just the way he shouted it out almost before Vince was even done with the question. I dunno, just felt like such a coached response to me.

Foley said when he first met Tyson, Mike kept mentioning seeing Foley with a rat, and it took a moment to realize that Mike was talking about the early Mankind vignettes. I also remember him name dropping guys like Nikolai Volkoff and Don Leo Jonathan at the post-Mania press conference.

I think he is a big fan and always has been. It would also help explain why he got "IT" when he worked with them at Mania back in the day.

It's possible it seemed unnatural due to knowing the question was going to be asked, maybe, or just since he's a f***ing weirdo.

On 8/23/99, wcw runs the KISS concert against the WWF title match between Mankind and Triple H, as opposed to a Hogan/Sting match in the segment before.
Looking at ratings, about a million people switched from Nitro to Raw.
