Suffice to say, this company is finished. Ditzy and her yes men won't admit it. But...
How are they going to market the show to prospective networks now? * They all know by now Ditzy is a nightmare to work with. * And with what does TNA sell to the networks? Hardy's a cripple. Angle is leaving. And they no longer have Joe, Aries, MVP, Storm, Low Ki, Kenny King... ** Really, save for EC3, the show is trash. Speaking of which... * The show is little more than an rapidly imploding indy fed.
It's all over. It'll either shamble on like a slow-moving zombie or just finally die.

They are dead and buried. I just took a look at their roster. It's small and really contains very few marketable names. They pissed off Spike. Discovery have ditched them. TV companies will know that they are problematic to work with and will avoid them. They are finished.

You're right any executive that would consider doing business with Dixie just needs to search her name online, then they would know about her failures and the fact that she ends up fighting or lying to the networks. The fact that tna is getting kicked off the international markets is telling, maybe they saw through her bullshit

By the end of its time in Australia TNA went from one of our highest rating cable channels where it had a better time slot than Raw or Smackdown on the same channel. (Raw was on 3:30 Wednesday afternoons, Smackdown 3:30 Fridays & Impact was 9:30 on a Saturday night)
Then it went to an extreme sports channel until that folded & at the end it was an after thought as the only free programming on the Pay Per View channel, where it would be ads ads ads, Impact, then more promos for UFC & WWE events

*Breaking News*
SpikeTV has just released a statement canceling iMPACT.
"Sure we don't air the show anymore and haven't for about a year, but who doesn't want to cancel iMPACT?"

Discovery should replace it with a show called iPACT, about a team of vigilantes who all work for Apple by day.

Just found out that, unlike Slammiversary, TNA aren't going to try to show Bound For Glory live in the UK, instead airing the replay version midweek. We've also lost the rerun on Tuesday of regular IMPACT. Right now, we get IMPACT once, Xplosion twice and the monthly PPV. I find it intersting that a free repeat is being replaced with reruns of Millionaire, unless they're preapring for a wind down or change of broadcast date.

Guess the Takeshi's Castle competition is getting a little too hot for TNA to deal with.

Haven't watched TNA for years and haven't been keeping tabs either. What the hell? Long story short: Dixie Basically she f***ed over Spike so Spike dropped TNA. Whether you believe it is because Dixie kept Russo on as a hidden member of creative despite warnings from Spike to never work with him again until Vinnie Ru. emailed a script to Mike Johnson at PWInsider on accident, their complete failure to achieve the goals of reach 2 million people by the end of the deal or whatever, she's did it. They shopped Impact around and had two networks bite: Destination America (owner by Discovery) and WGN America. They took the DA deal because DA gave them 2 additional shows, Discovery helped them in other markets around the globe and WGN wanted a clean break/restart with TNA off the air for a few months which Dixie was dead against. The DA era started with a "Special" episode taped in NYC that aired on a Wednesday (same day they were on with Spike) then moved them to Fridays the following week. The two additional shows were a "Best of..." and "Impact: Unlocked". Impact: Unlocked a Saturday morning replay of the previous night's Impact with added material (pop up video like facts and a sit-down interview hosted by Mike Tenay). The Best Ofs were canceled after a few weeks and the replay moved to before the new Impact on Fridays. That failed so they moved Impact to Wednesdays and DA signed ROH to air before and after Impact. Seems the Hollywood agency TNA hired to get them their new TV deal didn't think to ask for an exclusivity clause. Dixie and Co. found out several hours prior but didn't bother to tell anyone pissing off the wrestlers. Ratings were up and down for both, ROH got moved to after Impact and they've stayed this way since. Now in June, Meltzer reported that TNA would be canceled in Oct.. TNA denied this but nothing ever came from Discovery. It has also been reported that Dixie sent an email tearing apart the head of Discovery and running him down and actually CC'd him on the email. Yeah. We get to August and Discovery starts dropping them in overseas markets, then Dixie does this interview admitting what we basically already knew. And this doesn't even touch on the talent side of things with Hernandez, MVP, Taz and so on.

Yeah that's always great when show is switching the TV channel. To be honest I don't know what I would do if I was presented with a choice between DA (where boys play around until they grow up and go to DC) or WGN America whose program consists of nothing but some has-been syndication. No matter what you do you gonna get screwed because both have nothing to do with such a specific show as wrestling but both wanted some input.

No matter what you do you gonna get screwed because both have nothing to do with such a specific show as wrestling but both wanted some input. Well, one, WGN had Superstars for awhile and it did decently on there, and two, WGN is in waaaaay more homes than DA is. As for the whole taking months off thing, I don't think it'd have hurt them that much. That's basically what they're doing right now, just basically showing nothing but pointless matches on a weekly basis with virtually no substance while the guys working there don't know if they still have a job or not. They couldn't possibly be any worse off on WGN than they are right now.

WGN is off the table for the exact same reason DA is telling TNA to GTFO; No advertiser wants to be near that show.

Some please get me Dixie Carter's phone number, I'll be nice I swear, but I will tell her what it seems nobody will. It's time to cut losses and begin shutting down.
