Does anyone else miss the Guest Bookers? I love them, my favorite series by KC. Whether or not I agree with how the guest books the scenario, it's extremely interesting to me to see an alternate idea. I wish they'd revisit the Invasion storyline with a couple extra people.

I have Raven booking Hall and Nash coming to ECW instead of WCW. Fascinating stuff.

I really wish they'd come out with another one, like, I dunno... Nash booking the first year of NWA-TNA or Excalibur books ROH something. If I had to rank them from best to worst...
Gabe's ECW
Greg's USWA or whatever it was called
Mantell's TNA
Sullivan's WWF
Raven's ECW
A tie between Jerry Jarrett's WCW/Cornette's Invasion/Russo's Invasion
Al Snow's big ol' pile of horseshit.

DDP should do 1998. I've mentioned this before, he was involved with the NWO, goldberg, Malone and Leno, Bret. He really was the backbone.

Al Snow was the biggest douchebag I've ever seen ever interviewed by KC. Like Sean looks uncomfortable during the whole thing, Snow was just a condescending piece of shit. I wish they could get Pat Patterson for a guest booker or for a timeline during the 80s national expansion.

Hey, anyone here watched either of the Guest Booker "Rebooking The Invasion" shoots? I know it's one from Russo and one from Cornette, and that dichotomy fascinates me. Which is the superior shoot?

Cornette's was really slow and booked people that didn't made sense, like putting Dusty vs Hogan at WM 18, and Terry Funk vs The Undertaker, he also left out huge names like Goldberg and the ECW guys. My take on it is that it had boring ideas and washed up concepts, but at the very least it had an structure that worked long term. Where as Russo presented great ideas but didn't know how to carry them over the long term. The best guest booker would've been them two together. Russo's ideas but with Cornette's structure and long term planning. I think that if Jim worked as his filter they would've been able to book great money drawing stuff, too bad they hate each other.

For the record. I will listen to Kevin Nash talk about any year in the wrestling business ever. Dude is fascinating.

The Cornette one, while you may (and many do) disagree with what he'd book (stylistically setting it up as not just a WWF vs WCW feud, but as a northeast sports entertainment vs. southern wrasslin' once-and-for-all feud making it bigger than just the post-Monday Night Wars WWF vs WCW) it's a really enjoyable, fascinating watch because of Cornette explaining his methodology for each decision.
