Arizona is resting Carson Palmer for the rest of the game and letting Drew Stanton get some reps.

They are up 23-0 in the 4th with 7:00 to go in game. Why is Pete Carroll throwing every down instead of securing the victo- - oh yeah, right. Pete Carroll. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}I swear, when I see this level of idiocy, it honestly makes me really really want those teams to lose. And I hate the Bears and like the Seahawks roster.

What a complete nonsense stat pointing out that the back-up back for Seattle is "The first runningback with more than 100 yards that isn't Marshawn Lynch since 2002!"

Well, my team is now a dumpster fire... Great.
If you hadn't guessed already, it's the 49ers. My God, that was waaaaaaaay worse than last week.

Did Seattle ever have much of a running game between 2002 and now without Lynch? I really haven't paid attention to their rosters in the early-mid 00's. It is a nonsense stat, but I'm also reasonably sure that they were talking specifically about Seattle backs and not NFL runningbacks.

He won the MVP I believe in 2005 (the year they went to the Super Bowl for the first time) and had the league record for most rushing TDs before LaDainian Tomlinson broke it.

Ben's injury. Looked like he also hurt his ankle on that play. Based on the GIF, isn't that similar to what happened to Brady in 2008? EDIT: Could it have been in violation of the Palmer Rule?

Could be....although that would be karma biting Pittsburgh in the ass because it was they who injured Palmer on a late hit (that wasn't called by the refs, if I remember) and caused for that rule to exist.

And before anyone begins to complain about the Brady Rule, here's the difference: - Palmer Rule (2006): Defenders can't hit QBs low unless if it's coming off a block
- Brady Rule (2009): Revision to the Palmer Rule; defenders on the ground can't lunge or dive at the QB's knees/lower legs

You know, I would have thought the Pats would have saved their complete blowout for the Colts.
