... You know, reading through this thread, it's amazing how many mental gymnastics Hogan's defenders are hurdling and contorting themselves through to imply that he really isn't a racist, or that he's a good human being, and so on and so forth. This guy's a shamelessly (and obliviously) self-absorbed POS. Edit: Also, for my own submission, his insistence that bringing Warrior to WCW in 1998 totally had nothing to do with getting his win back that he was so totally not upset that he lost EIGHT YEARS EARLIER and wasn't even a truly "clean" loss to begin with (Hulk had Warrior pinned and even slapped his hand to the mat three times during their WMVI match). Oh yeah, losing to Warrior f***ed him up mentally for years, that's why the Renegade character was created in WCW and why Warrior was signed to WCW. I wonder how he felt about losing to The Rock twice and Steve Austin refusing to work with him. But hey, at least he beat HBK & never gave Shawn a rematch

That's the pitfall of hero worship. When presented with evidence that their idols aren't infallible saints some people just can't handle it and either go into full denial mode, create convoluted ways of rationalising their behaviour, or a combination of both. For example: How many of those who believe Benoit is innocent do so based on an impartial review of all the evidence that leads them to the conclusion that he was framed? I'm willing to bet it's a minute percentage.

He worked with Orton a year later for only one match.

I can't remember the source, but I'm thinking it was a radio show or podcast from years back, but I remember Hogan talking about Randy Savage and Elizabeth and basically said that Elizabeth was a whore. I don't remember all the details but there was something about them staying at a hotel and when Randy wasn't looking, Elizabeth would just go from one room to the next letting men have her.

Liz seemed to love playing the delicate southern belle act but the was def promiscuous. Randys paranoia was not unfounded

That's probably it, although I don't feel bad for Shawn getting screwed, now he knows what all the guys felt when he didn't put them over or politic his way out of losing.

Hogan is as dumb as a bag of the rocks he used to stuff up his nose as a child, but there's one thing he's very smart at, and that's backstage politics in wrestling.

That Bret should be embarrassed because tiny old HBK had to shoot pin him in Boston at Wrestlemania 17 for the Montreal Screwjob. As that clipped rolled, my jaw unhooked itself and slowly made its route unto the floor. I kept buzzing, thinking "alright, the punchline's coming.........it's not, is it?"

So this little scrawny dude comes up to me brother and he says, 'Hulkster, you're my hero, and I want to offer you a 50 percent stake in this thing called Facebook. All I want in return is an autograph. ' But I didn't have a pen, brother!

www.youtube.com/watch?v=wydc9X9BZy8Suburban Commando was released in 1991. In October. Almost a full year after Taker debuted. Furthermore, this goes against everything everybody else said about Undertaker coming to WWE back when. Including the Undertaker himself.
