Far, far less than I ever did before, especially if you count DVDs that either are on the Network or that were largely composed of material available on the Network.

I'm spending far more than I have. I think the last PPV I ordered may have been an ECW One Night Stand. I've had the Network since it launched.

Yep. They're like drug dealers. Here have a taste of the future on this new show called NXT, on Sky Sports for no extra charge. It's cool it's just a small little show on at an unsociable hours, just record it. Go on.
Then once I'm hooked it's off Sky Sports and they're charging £10 a month to see it.
Yes I'm aware this essentially the business model of all televised wrestling, taste for free, pay for the rest and it's not as bad as when they originally took away our free PPVs after years of everything being "free".

Way less. I used to buy a lot of dvds, now I can watch all that stuff on the network. Whenever an interesting looking compilation DVD comes out, I just look at the match listing and then watch them in that order using the Network, or sometimes the occasional match on YouTube that isn't on there.

I've had it for over two years, since day one. We'll just make it easy and say two years, $10 a month, that's $240.
In those same two years, I would've paid $50 for Mania 31 (I wouldn't have ordered Mania 30 because I was there live, but I probably would've bought a DVD), and $40 for two Rumbles. Maybe $40 for this year's SummerSlam to see Taker vs Brock. If I'm correct on PPV pricing, that's $170. So yes, I've paid more.
However, for that extra $70 I've seen every PPV each month without the hassle of trying to find a decent stream, NXT and it's fine events, Legends House, ECW PPVs and Table for 3, which I'm a big fan of now. Also, i'm not the type of guy who watches old PPVs all the time, but I will watch one when the mood hits. There's a comfort in knowing that I can see Bret vs Davey Boy at Wembley Stadium whenever I want (which I actually did just recently), or pull up a match in case someone asks, "who won between such-and-such" or "have these guys ever fought?"
So for the little bit more I've paid, I've gotten a whole lot more, so its a good deal.

From about 99-2004, my family spent quite a bit on WWE for me. Action Figures, T-shirts, books, magazines, tickets, a couple of VHs tapes owned, many more rented, video games, and everything that they plastered Austin on. Since returning as a fan I'm 2011, I have only paid for tickets to two shows, bought four video games, and 10 months so far of the Network. I've been responsible for far less WWE income during this 5-year period than my original.

I haven't used the network at all since the ppv after Mania, but I'm still giving them $10 a month

They're getting less, but not by a tonne. I usually only bought 'Mania, and a couple DVD's a year so probably pretty close

For me, Sky Sports doesn't have anything else I need, so I'm cutting down to a tenner for purer stuff.

Maybe I pay WWE more in a year now than I did when they had ppvs, but for NXT, Breaking Ground, Table for 3, and certain ppvs...I got a bigger return on my investment.

Nah. Usually, I'd order the Rumble, Mania and SummerSlam. Each would be about $59.99, with Mania at $69.99. Even at $120 per year, I saved. That's not counting the fact that I no longer buy DVDs/Blu-Rays and the fact that it has allowed me to watch more wrestling than I have in years and it's an easy, money saving victory for me.

For years my routine was pirate every PPV except for Wrestlemania, so they are definitely coming out ahead with me.
Now if I had a legitimate way to watch RAW and Smackdown live without cable, I'd be in business.

I stopped getting the PPVs a long time ago. I watched Wrestlemania, and had the network until June when I cancelled it. I started subscribing again in September when they had a free month. I don't watch it a lot, but I figure it's worth it for 10 dollars a month.
