Vince: Get me John Cena! WWE Grunt: John Cena is unavailable. Vince: Then get me his non-union, Mexican equivalent! Arrrribbbbbaaaaaadoooooooooooooooo!!

If this was the early 90's, it would work since superheroes got rebooted as either as teens or Black. And mullets. Darren Young as the Man of Loyalty Zack Ryder as the West Newbury Kid Cesaro as The Cyborg Roman Reigns as The Doctor of Thuganomics

European audiences are getting really unlucky with stuff like this. In 3 of the last 4 tours we have lost a headline act just before the tour was set to begin (Bryan twice and now Cena) Unlucky? Depends on how you look at it.

Darn, well there goes all of my RAW posts about how much I hate John Cena. WHAT WILL I DO WITH MY LIFE NOW? READ A BOOK?? Is the book beginning to read alone because when you read it they Can't See You?
Seems legit to me.

I swear, that MGSV post better not be a f***ing spoiler or else I'm going to be furious. Yeah same here. I'm taking my time with the game so I've made sure to avoid all spoilers. This is last place I expected to see them. I mean goddammit.

He couldn't take a week off after Brock sent him to Suplex City.
I have a feeling he'll visit us live via satellite...Kane tipped him off on a great place in Hawaii.

I hope he and his family are OK. If it's nothing bad, nobody deserves a break more than him. Like him or not, he's given everything for the 'E.

Wouldn't mind Ziggler taking the title off Cena if he's taking time off.

Have him drop the title to Owens, who can then mouth off for a while about how he rid WWE of John Cena

Honestly, if Cena takes time off, he should just take the belt with him.
Let's be honest. If Cena loses the U.S. Title, even if he loses it CLEANLY, the title is going to go back to being an afterthought. And Cena leaving gives WWE too much room to possibly have him return and jump into a random program with whomever and not even care about the U.S. Title.
Cena should just take the title with him, and then have him come back without it while he is quietly declared "The Final United States Champion"
And hopefully this will leave a void to introduce a title that the real midcarders can actually have a real shot at winning.

When I hear "personal reasons" my mind usually goes into thinking that someone in his family may have passed. If so, my condolences.

Why can't that be the US title though? Why not let Cena's two runs give an almost long term credibility bump that would help a Fandango winning in the future? Not sure what point there is getting rid of one belt to make another for the same reason. It seems a waste of time and effort. Not to mention a new belt gets hype so hits US title levels anyway and opens up "grand slam" guys wantingbl to win it to extend their records. It wouldn't help lower guys at all.
