Did anyone watch this? I think Russo made some good points, but most of his points could be proven invalided. RD did not do a good job to defend his arguments against Russo. Russo acted like an ass in this interview. I listen to the free podcast last year on Russo's old site. He now has the full interview on his Youtube channel. It was kind of interesting. I wish RD would have pointed out that ratings did not improve greatly when Russo took over in late 1999. www.youtube.com/watch?v=CGjYxNG8OJ8

RD is always too soft on him, they always end up talking like buddies when he interviews them.

Not familiar with this rd reynolds cat. Is he a wrestler? No. He owns and runs WrestleCrap. He's written 3 books. He's done some stuff in wrestling, but took a chokeslam from Big Show, which injured him and made him retire from the wrestling stuff.

I loved how much RD just laughs at Russo. RD is a good guy, its weird to think I've been checking out Wrestlecrap for 14-15 years now.

RD is always too soft on him, they always end up talking like buddies when he interviews them. Even Eric Bischoff's been saying it the last couple of weeks in his WWE stuff, Vince Russo is a charming man when he wants to be. RD likes him on a personal level which makes it harder to argue with him.

I haven't checked it out, but I remember the second interview he and Blade did with him which consisted of next to nothing about wrestling, while they instead talked about fast food joints and old music.
Sorry, but I'm not listening to get Russo's thoughts on Long John Silvers.

I thought the Russo interview was about 3-4 years ago Did he do another WC did an interview with Russo back in 2006. I know this because I still have it burned onto a CD in 2 parts. I'd have to listen to it sometime when I go driving.

I thought the same thing. Maybe it's because even though I have a join date in 06, I've actually been lurking much, much longer. I used to check out Wrestlecrap and click the forum link on the site to get here.

Even RD himself doesn't have a copy of it, and we've been having to go off of memory when discussing it around these parts. You would be doing us all a huge favor, even it if does mean duplicate the voice of a...well...what are the words I'm looking for?

I heard it a couple of months ago, I might have downloaded it from the archive. I can't find it now, but I'm positive I have it somewhere on here.

I downloaded it literally the day it came out. But yeah, let me search for the CDs and I'll put them up. That's crazy.

That interview drove me crazy. Russo's odd belittling and boasting, "I'VE GOT YOU ON THIS ONE, BRO!" was a bit much and RD just came across as too nice of a guy to really dig back into Russo.
Meltzer and Russo though... I'd pay money for them to have a Death of WCW discussion.
