Everything after Game 7 of the 2006 Stanley Cup Playoffs. But I don't know during that time period here are some highlights:
-Chris Pronger requesting a trade 4 days after Game 7 of the Cup Finals -Ryan Smyth being traded and the Oilers losing 18 out of the final 20 games since the trade -Chris Pronger winning the Stanley Cup during his first season after being traded -Going deadlast during 2009-2010 -Going deadlast again during 2010-2011 -Going second last during 2011-2012 -Being in the playoff hunt towards the end of the 2013 season and then going on a 6 game losing streak and losing 9 out of the final 12 games -Dallas Eakins and Craig MacTavish destroying every progress made in the rebuild during the last two years chasing good players out of town and breaking more dubious records4 -Devin Dubnyk who Craig MacTavished chased out of town who he buried the moment he became GM becomes a runner up the Vezina Trophy and 4th in voting for the Hart the season after -Currently being tied 2nd for longest NHL Post Season Drought with a realistic chance of tying the record this season.

Last year the Yankees only won 84 games. The horror.

Today was a miserable day but but relegation was worse Where does blowing the 12 point lead to Manchester United come? That must've been pretty gut wrenching. Still think that Newcastle side is one of the best teams I've seen not to win the title. For me 1) relegation 2) last season post Pardew 3) current run 4) blowing the 12 point lead While the 12 point lead was painful, Newcastle were still playing better and we lost it to an AMAZING Man Utd team. 1-3 were just painful to sit through due to abysmal football and passionless players/management Bear in mind I started supporting them in 95 so those are just the moments that sting for me, I'm sure older fans have sat through worse

Yankees blowing a 3-0 lead to the Boston team in 2004. Its bad enough that it happened. But the way it did made it so much worse. Game 3 was a Yankees blowout win in Boston. Then Boston eeks out two extra-inning wins, but as a Yankee fan, you're thinking "eh, its alright, they were at home, we got 2 in the Bronx, we got this," only to come home and be absolutely embarassed. And the horror culminates in the hated rivals winning their first championship in 86 years.

Tampa Bay Rays: Pick a year from 1998 to 2007. 2002 was particularly rough. They lost 15 straight games after starting 3-0 and finished 55-106. Then in 2007, they finished in the cellar again when they were finally expected to at least compete for third place in their division. So it's either one of those seasons. It's a damn good thing the Rays finally turned around with the rebranding in 2008.
Atlanta Braves: There were some very lean years in the late 1970s and late '80s. More recently, though, it's close between 2008 and 2015. In 2008, they were picked as a World Series favorite, only to finish 72-90. They had to trade Mark Teixeira and throw in the towel by the end of July. And then there's this year. The Braves showed potential in the first three months, only to dive off a cliff around the All-Star break -- right after Fredi Gonzalez got a contract extension. They went 1-19 from August 17 to September 6. Shelby Miller, one of the league's best pitchers, went more than 20 starts without a win because he had no run support. Hopefully this is where they bottom out.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: September 2014, Thursday night game against the Atlanta Falcons. Down 42-0 at halftime and 56-0 in the third quarter, the Bucs lose 56-14 in front of a national TV audience. It's a microcosm of a 2-14 season. Just when I thought the 10-game losing streak at the end of 2011 couldn't be topped, it was. And yes, this is worse than 0-14 in 1976, because at least that was an expansion team.
UCF Football: Right now. They lose the season opener at home to a subpar FIU team, then get crushed at Stanford before losing again at home... to Furman. Furman... an FCS program that had beaten an FBS team just once since 1987. Then they hit the road again and Tulane throws up 45 points in another defeat. It's looking like the 2004 0-12 campaign might have company now. And this is only two years removed from a win in the Fiesta Bowl!

Orioles: 30-3. I watched the whole thing wondering how much worse it could get. Florida State: 30-0 loss at HOME to Wake Forest Cowboys: 2001, the year they started Clint Stoerner, Ryan Leaf, Anthony Wright, and Quincy Carter. With Dave Campo (!) as HC. Just no hope whatsoever.

Patriots: 1990 record breakingly bad offense, talk starting about the team being relocatedand then having the team whipping their wangs out at a female reporter in the locker room.

If we're going with on-field performance, the 2012 National Championship and last year's second half collapse are bright spots for Notre Dame compared to their 3-9 campaign in 2007.
Most losses in a season in school history. 0-5 was the worst start to a Notre Dame season. Didn't win a home game until their last one of the season. 38-0 losses to both Michigan and Southern Cal. Navy ended its 43 game losing streak against the Irish. Air Force beat them 41-24, one of their worst losses to a service academy. One of the worst offensive teams in the country.
And then the next two years they went 6-6 in the regular season before they got rid of Weis.
For Indiana football, with their long history of being average at best, the death of Terry Hoeppner was a low point. He got fans excited about the program and really tried to build something good there. They got to a bowl game after that, lost, and have been struggling ever since. If the Ohio State game is anything to go by they might have a good season this year.

This offseason and season for the Niners. I'm of the mindset that Harbaugh knew this was coming and that's a bug part of him running like hell

The Comeback in 1992. To this day, The Oilers fan in me wonders what if we didn't choke in the 2nd half against the Bills. And the Texan in me wonders about the greatness of an all Texas superbowl.

God, the Braves were a train wreck this year.

2006-07 for the LA Kings. The absolute worse team in the NHL(record-wise) and then the f***ing Anaheim Ducks end up crushing everybody en route to being the first California team to win the Stanley Cup. If that wasn't enough, we didn't even win the draft lottery that year. I flat out almost quit on the entire sport when that season ended. Luckily things are much, MUCH better now.

Aside from 2012 the entire Mike Ashley era at Newcastle.
This year it's no wins from 8 so far, just got stuffed against City, bottom of the league and with the Tyne Wear Derby to come

When the Ravens lost to the Dolphins, who had yet to win a game at that point, a few years ago really hurt. Especially when dealing with Redskins fans at school the next day.
Fortunately, there's been vindication since then, but still.

The Malice at The Palace incident. Especially when The Pacers were heavilly fined and suspended killing any chance of Reggie getting the ring in his final year whilst The Pistons including Ben Wallace who started the whole damn thing got off with not even a slap on the wrist

Seattle Seahawks: Last season's Super Bowl. At least they won the prior year, but man, that last play still stings.
Seattle Mariners: Tying the regular season record for wins in 2001, only to fizzle out in the playoffs with little fanfare. They haven't reached the postseason since.
Sacramento Kings: The 2002 Western Conference Finals against the Lakers. The whole game 6 debacle with the officiating, followed by the Kings losing game 7 after forcing overtime.
