Guy was just an outlet of blame. Yeah it was crap but I remember people sitting next to him who were also trying try to steal that ball along with Bartman, then turned around and threw trash at the guy moments later. It could have been anyone of the fans in that row, it just happen to be Steve Bartman. Bartman did not beat the 2003 Cubs, the 2003 Cubs beat the 2003 Cubs.
I know during the NLDS this year, fans tried to get Bartman to show up for a game and he refused. Honestly I don't blame him, ruin the guys life and now you want him back with open arms? I honestly legit feel sorry for the guy. He was just at the wrong place at the wrong time.

What makes me laugh I'd the 30 for 30 episode that was done on the incident actually ends with the narrator saying that Bratman needs to forgive Chicago to complete the healing.

I was sad because the World Series was Yankees vs Marlins. Who wanted to see that?

I remember the ESPN Special "8 Reasons You can't blame Steve Bartman." And they made a valid point like the whole Bill Buckner ordeal: There was still a Game 7. They even had a lead in game 7. This whole thing is really on the media. There was no need to report his identity. There was no twitter, or FB was in its infancy. It would have gone away. They zoomed in on him, and identified him on air.

He was a plant, brother. The Marlins took him out for pizza afterward, jack

I don't get it. At all. It's kind of a small horse, I mean what am I missing? Am I crazy?
