Where's Scott Steiner when you need him? Where's Scott Steiner when you need him? $697 Heh!? I'm hungry. *LMAO* ------------- Also, I love math. This seems like accounting though, and as such, I say $170. But likely what you have is a math teacher trying to teach negatives and also trying to give Common Core a locker room handie at the same time; therefore, I predict he/she was expecting -130 as the answer. Incidentally, I had a PhD ask me what the answer to this Kindergarten question was this week: "what sound does the letter X make?"

The official answer was -$130. The $300 was borrowed and spent on vacation.
The teacher acknowledged that the question was not very well written.

I just follow the rule that my father used to get through his math classes ... X = 42 and if it's multiple choice... choose the closest number. and before anyone asks No, this had nothing to do with Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy... it's a very strange coincidence

although it's late, I had the right answer and am glad that 15 years after my last math class (managed to get 3 free credit hours for math my freshman year in college) that I was still able to figure it out

Why go on vacation when you can use that money to buy innumerable scratch 'n' win tickets.
