These tie to the real problem with the gimmick: A social justice warrior in modern day, or any day, WWE would either be a massive hypocrite or would have to commit suicide during his first appearance. I'd welcome it. The PC Principal character is one of the most unlikable personalities on television today. WWE could use a heel like that who makes you just gnash your teeth any time you see him.* South Park absolutely hit it out of the park with the creation of that character. * - As opposed to heels like Seth Rollins or The Authority, who make you roll your eyes and make dismissive wanking motions any time you see them. So, let's see: A heel who makes you gnash your teeth when you see them... Claims to be a "social justice warrior" on paper, but it's in-canon that they're actually a massive hypocrite who's is only doing it to be self-serving and doesn't care about social issues as much as they care about making themselves look like the greatest person in existence- instead browbeating and destroying everyone- even positive role models on a social scale, just to make themselves look like the best one out there. ...no sir, I have no clue how a PC Principal-type would come across on WWE television. None at all.

Do we REALLY want WWE making allusions to social issues? Why not? A check your privilege type wold likely be an awesome heel. And WWE is never one to shy away from modern politics. Heck, they could bring back Palmer Cannon, since that was his Miz fighting gimmick.

If anything, they'd be a (meta-)face because most of the internet audience will agree with their message, and also feel sympathy for them because they know that WWE will intentionally try to portray them in a negative light.

Nah. I want WWE to have as little in common with South Park as is humanly possible. Don't forget to bring a towel!

Leave it to south park to gloss over all issues with race in America, and only bring up the issues when they feel "white people" are being effected So far it's been down the middle, 1st episode made fun of PC people but the 2nd one made fun of reactionary people. The 3rd was non political. It's a massive improvement on last season which only had one decent episode (the wacky races one).

Oy vey South Park is still on? It's the one only watchable long running cartoon show left as Simpsons, Family Guy and American Dad have turned into asinine, uninspired, unfunny, repetetive turds. Rick and Morty hasn't been on for so long and Beavis & Butthead and King of the Hill are done. Without South Park, I'd have no cartoon show to watch now.

Internet audience? Maybe. The live audience? Not even kind of. I honestly don't see how a message of political correctness, satirical or otherwise, would play with wrestling audiences. Hell, I'm pretty sure a feminist gimmick played straight would get booed out of the building. Mind you, the most successful female heel in recent history turned via "the friendzone".

I don't know how someone going around telling people to check their privilege would be viewed as anything but an annoying heel, by the internet or live audience.

*Paper rattles in hands as body trembles with anger*
"Los Matadores? You gave a Puerto Rican tag team a bull fighting gimmick, bro? Don't you know bull fighting is banned in Puerto Rico? Are you ignorant enough to confuse Puerto Rico with Spain, bro? Are you saying that all Spanish speaking countries are the same?"

Do it like Michael Scott (or Kelly Osborne for a rl example) a character who is doing it to look good rather than for good intentions but is so inept she or he accidentally reveals their own prejudices. Goofy Kurt was a bit like this in the attitude era.

Not really, beside tumblr and twitter...SJW are hated on the internet. Their the reason why people think tumblr is worse the 4chan.

Sounds like a way to make everyone, on all sides, mad and get a lot of terrible press.
The whole idea is weird to me, anyway. Someone wants me to change the way I talk about some other group, I think about it, and usually I agree and change it and who cares? If I think about it and disagree I say so and don't change and nothing happens. Where's the villainy?
