He's won just 1 of his last 16, the title match against Sting. Take away the house shows (including the loss to Cena at MSG) and it's 1 win in 8 matches on TV. But I guess wins and losses don't matter, right?

Rey Mysterio had a better record than this guy.

He's coasting by on the big haul of ranking points he got from the title win in the main event of WrestleMania. If it weren't for that, he'd be near the bottom of the rankings.
(I don't know how valid these things are, though... I'm caught up to the start of May on them and Fandango has been in the Top 10 the whole time)

WOW.
I think Monday night is probably the worst he's looked yet as champ though, just in terms of being such an idiot that you can't even hate him, other than be frustrated at how dumb he is.

Disgusting. Not even Jericho had this record when he first won the title.

They need to get the belt off him ASAP. The booking of his rein has completely turned me off of the product. I'm sure its a big reason why a lot of people have stopped watching altogether.

This is why I want Kane to beat him for the championship. Rollins has done everything he can as a cowardly heel and has faced just about everyone, so badly needs a change. I want to see him lose to Kane and then walk away from the authority and start doing things on his own, before eventually getting a rematch and beating Kane clean without help etc
But WWE only really knows two ways to book a heel right now. As a monster badass (Lesnar, Henry etc) or as joke who loses just about every week

All that matters is if they were strong losses.
Right?

He's playing the cowardly heel who cheats to win-I get that. But the way he''s been booked just makes him look inept.

To follow up on my previous comment, remember Jericho's Undisputed title reign? Which was his first WWE Championship title reign? Well, Jericho has said in the past that the booking for Rollins (if I remember right or chickenshit heels in general) is cool since he himself used to be a chickenshit heel and that's how they're booked, he says he lost all the time. I've tallied Jericho's record during that reign.
Jericho won 12 televised matches and lost 7. If you add the house shows, he won 20 and lost 17. Rey Mysterio during his horrible 2006 run had 10 wins and 6 losses.
Rollins has the worst win/loss record of any WWE Champion in history I believe.

All that matters is if they were strong losses. Right? Each and every one against John Cena was especially strong. Cena put the WWE Champion over huge.

What's so sad is I really think Rollins is keeping the belt until Mania 32. Five more months of his title reign is going to be rough.

What's so sad is I really think Rollins is keeping the belt until Mania 32. Five more months of his title reign is going to be rough. They really seem to be heading that way. What an abysmal title reign honestly. And it's not even Seth's fault, the dude is bringing it in the ring but the story is just not there, and the character is just bad fake laugh, whining and twenty minute promos. If they really do keep the belt on him til WM32, it just makes me hate WWE's "we're planned the match a year ahead and we can't change it because we presented it to the shareholders or something? So nothing's important until Wrestlemania, even though there are so many part timers now it's basically non canon by the next PPV" style booking even more.

So he's 4-12 in his last 16 matches, not 1-15. Two SD! wins, Summerslam vs Cena and Night of Champs vs Sting.
This is, of course, still a lousy recent record for a world champ.

Guess they figure giving him a victory over Kane will erase all that since they think we're too dumb to remember anything that happened more than a few weeks ago.

This is probably the worst world title reign I've ever seen, though to be fair I wasn't around for Mysterio's.
