When they booed Grumpy Cat live on Raw. An entire crowd booed a cat who was even falling asleep. Think about that for a second. I was at the show live, the crowd audibly groaned when those segments were shown on the Titan Tron. Wasn't the best show either, so a lot of us in Roanoke wanted to go to sleep like Grumpy Cat did.

Crowd cheering for Bryan during the big Orton/Cena title unification promo on RAW. I'd never seen such an authentic look of smug indignation on HHH and Steph's face before. I was in the crowd for that, and I don't think it's fair to call the audience heels. We were standing up for the most true blue babyface on the roster. I have never been so happy with a crowd reaction. That crowd was awesome and they were so loud and persistent with their chants. I was very proud to be a fan of Daniel Bryan that night. I thought the roof was going to come off that place when Bryan hit HBK with that running knee.

Obviously, it was based on circumstances that had nothing to do with him but poor Rey did not deserve all those boos when he came out at the 2014 Rumble, haha. Dude's a legend in this industry and that crowd treated him like Cecil the Lion. So the man who brought high-flying to mainstream wrestling isn't a legend now?

When they decided to Boo Rey at WM 22 in his quest for the World Title, which was something I was okay with at first because I hated the whole use of Eddie Guerrero's death t get Rey a sympathy run, but when the match finished they cheered him like a conquering hero.
Make your damn minds up!

Make your damn minds up! Wow. Just imagining the backstage reaction if the crowd just craps on the title win of a physical underdog doing it in his dead friend's honour. I'm part horrified, part amused.

Dude's a legend in this industry and that crowd treated him like Cecil the Lion. Rey being booed as if he was a Genocidal Sub-Saharan Warlord did my heart so much good, though. I'd been waiting for it to happen ever since he'd joined the No Limit Soldiers in WCW and wore those stupid glue-on horns. He got booed at Money in the Bank 2011 when he stopped an injured Miz from winning the Money in the Bank Match.

When the crowd cheered the Dudleys putting Mae Young through a table was apparently a Heel turn for them as far as Vince was concerned.

Roman's entire push to WM31 and hell even afterwards when that match is brought up is a reflection of the crowd being heels. They make it seem as though Reigns was a martyr and we weren't supposed to disapprove of him. Hell, Wyatt has been been used as a catalyst in this as well, this entire feud is built upon Reigns being disapproved of. If you ask the WWE then the audience is just as bad as Grover Dill aka The Toadie in A Christmas Story.

So the man who brought high-flying to mainstream wrestling isn't a legend now? Well I understand who is a legend and who isn't is subject to interpretation, but I'm not one who throws around the legend term liberally. To me Mysterio was a joke, too small, boring, never into the whole masked lucha libre stuff. To me it was sad watching actual real wrestlers stumble around and flip themselves over and oversell just to make Mysterio's pathetic offense look legitimate. And not to mention when he'd set up his ridiculous, pointless double plancha 420 360 flying burrito or whatever it was called. If I wanted to see Cirque du Soleil I'd go to Vegas.

I like how no-one seems to have read the OP and are putting in examples of real heeling by the crowd.

So you don't get lucha libre and that makes one of the most famous luchadores in American wrestling history not a legend? Also the use of 'burrito' in there was a touch sketchy.

I get lucha libre, it's just terrible. Wish it never polluted the landscape here. Being one of the most famous luchadores in America is like being the worlds greatest kazoo player. Whoop Dee Doo.
