I don't watch TNA, but I just read where Gail Kim and Madison Rayne are being included in their world title tournament.
Could WWE ever pull this off, or have they fallen too far into PG, that men and women competing together would get too much heat from pc crusaders?
And obviously, I don't mean seeing Eva Marie out there. But someone believable like Bayley, Asuka, or Charlotte could totally hold their own in at least the midcard circuit.

PG and Mattel aside, I think the Rhonda Rousey and neo feminist movement is pretty in right now, so as long as the women are presented in a strong light than I think it would work. Not in a one on one match, but tag matches could occur.

No as I'm pretty sure that one of the conditions of the Mattel deal states no male on female violence.

I've been absolutely adamant about this, that the only way this could work is if the woman is the heel

Many of the channels that show WWE in other countries would cut that part out of the show so it's not a good idea.
Sky Sports in the UK even cut the episode where Edge was terrorising a wheelchair bound Vickie.

No, never. The dynamics of a match wouldn't work. The man could suplex and powerbomb her, because it's cartoonish, but punches and kicks would cause problems.

No
For a number of reasons. For starters WWE has for years made the divas out to be a bunch of jokes. Secondly, I don't think the sponsors will go for it. Thirdly, as soon as they make a woman look bad by losing to a man you'd get all the Knights in Shining Fedoras from Tumblr and Reddit moaning about it.

Yes, they could easily.
Lucha Underground, PWG, CZW and CHIKARA have made it work. Dean Malenko and Lita had a good program in 2000 too. Didn't we have Karma fighting men in the Royal Rumble a few years back?
There is a ton of difference in having say Nia Jax vs Heath Slater than there is in Edge vs a wheelchair bound non wrestler.
It could work and I'd love them to try it, but do not trust they would have any idea of how to book such an situation.

It only works IMO when the woman is either physically built enough to look legitimate enough in the ring against a man (Awesome Kong and Chyna) or in a comedy context where the man is there to get humiliated (Santina Marella)

Call me crazy, but I think AJ Lee vs Dolph Ziggler could have been fantastic after they split. Neither rely on strength moves and I think they would have had good matches against each other.
Dolph said in an interview that he pitched for it but it got turned down.

Have the woman have the speed advantage but the man to have the power. Although in modern day WWE all the best guys are very quick too. I could buy Asuka kicking the arse of any man on the roster however.

I was really tempted to do what that other poster did when you mentioned that last time and kick off before asking if you "were happy in a 4Chan way that you proved me wrong" Becky Lynch is a better technical wrestler than most of the guys on the roster too so I could see her making a good show of it. I do like how people think men wrestling women is unrealistic but a demonic undead undertaker with magical powers and his psycotic pyromaniac brother are fine.

It's very rare these days. Lita/Heath Slater. Beth Phoenix and Kharma in the Rumble. Kidd/Natalya vs. Adam Rose and the Bunny, Tyson/Cesaro/Natalya vs. Matadores/Torito. Those are some of the more recent examples. WWE just doesn't want to do it any more, and I don't blame them.

I just don't think there is any reason for it. No one complains that the Men and Women have different competitions in FIFA or the Olympics. In a simulated contact sport, you're just asking for trouble.
Although this topic does always make me laugh, because it reminds me of when my computer opponent in GM Mode on one of the old Smackdown vs Raw games booked Kane, Chris Masters, & Carlito vs Trish Stratus as it's Summerslam Main event.
