The Darko thing pisses me off soooo much as a Pistons fan. Even as a kid, I knew Carmelo was gonna be awesome and then JD decides to pick Darko because..? Granted they won the title that season, but they might have been better once their dominance in the east started to fade and had a seasoned Melo taking the reigns in 09/10. I have it as Darko because the next three picks after him were Superstars. So I have that over Brown, Oden or Bennett.

He had one good season, got hurt really bad in that good season and never bounced back. Disappointment and for what WA gave the Rams to draft him. The Rams won hands down. Speaking of wish I'm adding a few to the NFL List. 3. Tim Tebow: For all the hype he got since he was drafted. People went crazy when Denver brought in Payton. When sure I get for making the playoff I got it. Now after what it been 3 teams brought him in and did nothing for either of them. For all that hype he was a flash in the pan. I'm not being deliberately contrary but I'd actually suggest Tebow is the complete opposite to a bust. I'd say he is an overachiever in the NFL. He was a surprise 1st Round draft pick, had no business going so high, had no mechanics to be an NFL QB and had no accuracy, yet he still managed to guide a team to the playoffs (albeit with a lot of help) and win a playoff game with one of the most memorable plays that will always be remembered. And, if my memory serves me correct, Tebow seemed to have very little support from Elway during that period, he seemed to desperately want him out of Denver. And honestly, I thought he looked the best he has ever been during this pre-season with Philly. He was throwing the ball nicely and actually looked like a genuine quarterback at times. I thought he was very unlucky not to make it to 53 man roster. Tell that to the sport channels who couldn't ever STOP talking about him as if he was the second coming of one of the all time great QB. The way ESPN and such talked about him from the moment he was drafted, that ALL they talked about for months. Anything about the NFL always had some kind of Tebow talk for whatever reason. Tim wasn't that good and never was that good to be a starting QB. Sure that one moment he did make it to that playoffs out of luck. We are seeing the same issues starting to happen this year with Colin.

Probably due to a desire to spark interest/controversy, I think way too many in the sports industry are obsessed with making a player immediately into a Hall of fame worthy or the alternatively the Worst player ever, there never seems to be a middle ground.

Depending on the week, the same player can be both.
