She showed all the charisma of a fish. Yeah. The fish sold it better.

I think she managed to say "We Ront Sasha" at some point too. It was world class all round. I refuse to believe the Bellas' first language is English, their pronunciation and word emphasis is all over the shop. I still don't know who this Ashley person Nikki keeps talking to is, maybe she means Charlotte.

Reminds me of the time Kurt Angle was talking to Chyna, and then added "if that is indeed your real name"

That was a really stupid bump for anyone, but especially for a rail thin woman like Brie. I'm amazed performers still do stuff like that, especially with all the stories you hear from the old timers about how they should've taken it easier in order to prolong their careers, and especially doing it for a storyline that's been as universally panned as this one. If you're determined to do spots like this, at least save them for a bigger moment on a bigger stage, a bad episode of Raw with nothing on the line shouldn't have been one of them. I don't think that any of them should start half-assing things just because a lot if us think this angle or the show in general isn't great. That'll kind of ensure that it WILL suck as opposed to keeping a small possibility of "at least THAT thing was good". (Well... maybe dial back that kind of bump. Once is enough)

Here is the problem: WWE has taught the young girls in the audience that anything the Bellas say or do is good. So if the Bellas do anything to rag on Sasha, even if it's not supposed to bury her, young kids and preteens will take it at face-value.

The irrational Bella Twins hate on this site is really getting old .
Brie did the whole chanting thing to distract Naomi, and try to make a divide between Team Bad. They've been pushing this whole " The crowd likes Sasha not Team BAD" angle for a while now. It's really not that hard to see.

The irrational Bella Twins hate on this site is really getting old . Like hell it is. It's probably the biggest reaction they've sparked since they debuted.

Taking Foley-esque bumps isn't going to turn the #DIVASREVOLUTION around, only better matches, better booking, and better stories for these women will do that. Like I said, at least save something like that for a big PPV/Network Event and a match that you're actually competing in, not for another throw away, record low viewership episode of Raw.

I don't think WWE wants people chanting WE WANT SASHA over every diva's match that doesn't involve someone with NXT cred, neither do I really so I'm cool with having a heel openly mock it. Also then Sasha took her out for a pop, so it was effective in that sense.

As awesome as it ended up looking, I don't think Brie intended to fall like that.

Last night during the Nikki/Naomi match I was checking the RAW thread and wasn't really paying attention, so when I heard "We Want Sasha" on the mic and saw Brie on the announce table shouting it over and over again my first thought was "What the f*** is she doing?". Then when Sasha ran over and pulled Brie off the table (Brie took that bump like a champ by the way) I thought "Oh...didn't get as big a pop as they were hoping for that". Point is - never let Brie on the mic again unless you want chants killed. No one chanted "We Want Sasha" after that. Mission Complete!

Despite the fact that the Bellas have been heels since Survivor Series. (save for that brief time following Daniel Bryan's injury, and even then the fans weren't buying it) Give the kids some credit, they're smarter than that.

That's part of the problem. The Bellas are frequently presented in a sympathetic manner--which is one of the most consistent complaints on here about their characters.

Then why do the Bellas get high-pitched kids pops now? It's almost like their alignment is ambiguous on purpose, so people who don't pay as much attention will think they're faces, while those who know better are driven insane by it.

They're turning her face since she is really already viewed as one. That's good if true then. The problem is if WWE do the usual and take away everything people loved about her in the first place.

Heels have made fun of faces for a long time. It's one way to get heat.
How many people have done or attempted to do the People's Elbow on Rock, to mock him?
