Ohh the free replay. Don’t they always do that ? Yep but I would have at least waited a day before promoted it

The Great SAS @stephenasmith Folks, I know it was close and that Canelo was the constant aggressor. I also predicted Canelo would win by decision. But I had GGGBoxing winning this fight by 1 round Even Skip Bayless saw it for GGG. I can’t find anybody who scored it for Alvarez. Not even Canelo’s mother thought he won.

There is a sports bettor I follow on twitter whose opinions I respect a lot that scored it for Canelo, but I can't see his justification for it, so I guess assume he had a big play on Canelo.

This rivalry is giving me Marquez Vs Pacquiao vibes. One guy just keeps getting f***ed by poor judging because the other guy is a cash cow.
Hopefully this one has the same ending.

@bcampbellcbs
GGG classy in defeat:
"I’m not going to say who won because the victory belongs to Canelo according to the judges. I thought it was a very good fight for the fans, and very exciting. I thought I fought better than he did. (A third fight) under the right conditions, yes."

Dan talked to more guys who had it as a draw or a win for GGG Canelo controlled the fight and fought his fight
The problem comes in when the fact GGG is still scoring points on Canelo despite being on his backfoot first half of fight
Once the 2nd half started GGG started controlling the fight while Canelo was slowing down. If it went 15 it was going to be whoeever got knocked down first
After 2 fights we still really don't have an answer to who's better because both guys have been bringing it both matches

If there's a third fight, Golovkin has to go to the body.
He pretty well won the first two without doing it, so add that in and I think he's got it. Close as these fights have been an adjustment like that could be just what he needs to win big.

Jorge Linares looked great at 140 tonight. I wouldn't be shocked to see him take a belt up there too.

And to the surprise of absolutely no one, Mikey Garcia was all talk saying he was going to fight Spence next. He always does this, talks about some huge fight he wants, and then takes another considerably easier fight.
In this case Richard Commey. Commey is not a bad fighter by any stretch, and he's a mandatory challenger so I get why he took the fight.
That being said I wish he'd quit running his mouth about people he has no intention of actually fighting.
Hopefully next year he'll have the guts to actually try fighting Lomachenko for all the belts.

The more I see Terence Crawford the more I like him, both as a fighter and as a person.

Through round 9 we're at 8-1 for Crawford. Only thing that may happen is Crawford KO streak will be snapped.
