So Tyler just moves on after years of being on NXT with no championship reign? I'm happy that he's moving up but it just feels weird without any closure. I really feel like he should have been Finn Balor's top challenger

Classic Vince, he was getting over as a babyface on NXT and they decide to cut his momentum

I like him. May get an initial semi-push then end up like Fandango and Adam Rose. Sucks. It's depressing to have this mindset for guys being called up. I could very well see that happening as it's happened with so many guys in the past, but I think they'll give him a better shot then guys like Fandango and Rose as he's a better worker then both of them and is also a good bit younger. They're quicker to give up on a guy in his mid 30's then someone who is in there mid 20's.

Good. There's nothing left for him to do in NXT.

I want to see him feud with a returning John Morrison.
Prince Pretty vs. The Shaman of Sexy
Cuteville vs. The Palace of Wisdom
The Selfie Stick vs. SloMo JoMo

I like him but yeah... he's going to have everything that makes him stand out stripped away within two months and become a guy in black tights because heaven forbid a heel out entertain a face in the WWE.

Everybody who was worried about Breeze needs to read this.
So he's instantly going to be doing better than most NXT guys who aren't the Shield based on the fact they're actually having an idea of what to do with him with merchandise, gimmick, titantron and the works. I guess all his hardwork will pay off.
I know it's ok to be worried but this guy won't end up being a Neville or a Bo.

If I were in NXT/developmental right now, I'd probably focus more on creating a gimmick with sellable merch than anything else.
Breeze is solid in the ring, no doubt, but a very 1 dimensional character with mid-card, limited use. I wouldn't be surprised in the least if WWE sees right past him as performer and right into the marketability of his gimmick, which is smart, but kinda depressing as a fan.

Disagreed He's a really good worker who will probably improve (27 years old) 1 dimensional? Have you watched NXT regularly? Besides the arrogant selfieobsessed model hailing from different residences all over the planet, he has some Jericho (complains like a bitch about his spots on the big shows), Michaels (inring heel shenanigans, playing to the crowd) and The Model Rick Martel (obsessed with protecting his face and with performing an incredible entrance) in him

Here's another guy busting his ass, helping his peers alot on the side (Helped Sasha with the Boss gimmick f.e.), studying tapes for realsies and enduring years and years of developmental $ and conditions (pre-PC), and ppl all over the net (411mania f.e.) make fun of him being inserted into the Brock/Taker program because HARHARHAR he's such a small non-threatening harmless goodlooking dude who will be midcard at best
Hope he proves everyone wrong

All the things you've described still fall under "vainglorious model." If this were a movie or TV show, he'd basically be a stock character like "the jock" or "the nerd." Honestly, the guy's been a part of NXT for a while and they've failed to give him anything beyond the typical model-type gimmick, which sucks because there's a LOT of potential for more, but they seem to view him as mid-card heel so they have no reason to give him more.

As noted, top NXT star Tyler Breeze is expected to be making his WWE main roster debut very soon, and according to Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer Live, WWE has already prepared a new entrance theme for Breeze and other ideas are being planned. It appears Breeze will be retaining his NXT gimmick as WWE has plans to sell Tyler Breeze selfie sticks. With Summer Rae no longer working with Rusev on WWE TV, there is speculation, although unconfirmed, that she might be paired up with Tyler Breeze once he makes his debut. Summer actually managed Breeze at a WWE live event from Raleigh, North Carolina back in May.

Guess we have to disagree then. The comparisons to Michaels and Jericho have no real connection to being a "vainglorious model" but whatever

I mean, aside from heeling it up, I don't really see any connection to HBK or Jericho. Even the complaining about his spot is pretty much what every heel does in WWE.

Breeze will attain bo Dallas like status on the main roster I'm afraid. He's alright like but can't see his gimmick getting over.
