So I get the Tennis Channel does this mean I can actually watch ROH Not yet. Rumor is Sinclair will be rebranding it as a general sports channel with ROH as a big part of the programming maybe by year's end.

Since full spoilers haven't been posted yet I'll just say that {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}Lio Rush won the Top Prospect Tournament Nobody does seem to have perfect spoilers but someone on a different board compiled this list by going through someone's tweets who was at the show: {Spoiler} So I was able to find someone on Twitter (via @rohpittfan) who was at the show last night and did live tweet results (@jjwrestlingshow). Here's what I was able to gather, based on what he tweeted out (I separated the WOH matches and broke the rest up based on what will possibly be specific episodes of the TV Show):
- O.D.B. def. Faye Jackson
- ROH World TV Title - Roderick Strong (c) def. Jonathan Gresham to retain - ROH World Tag Team Champions War Machine def. "Brutal" Bob Evans & Tim Hughes - BJ Whitmer def. Chase Brown - Adam Cole Promo - The Briscoes def. ACH & Alex Shelley
- Hania The Huntress def. Mandy Leon
- Silas Young & The Beer City Bruiser def. The Boys - Top Prospect Tournament - Semi-Finals - Brian Fury def. Action Ortiz - Top Prospect Tournament - Semi-Finals - Lio Rush def. Punisher Martinez - Matt Sydal def. Adam Cole
- Six-Woman Tag - Veda Scott, Allysin Kay, & Amber Gallows def. Sumi Sakai, ThunderKitty, & Mary Dobson
- Top Prospect Tournament - Finals - Lio Rush def. Brian Fury - Moose def. Kongo - Cedric Alexander vs. Adam Page never gets going as it's immediately interrupted by BJ Whitmer - Cheeseburger def. "P-Dog" Mike Posey - Christopher Daniels def. Dalton Castle (with Silas Young on commentary)
- Kelly Klein def. Taeler Hendrix
- Roppongi Vice wins the Seven Team #1 Contender's Gauntlet Match (sounds like this will take up an entire episode)
Order & Elimination of Entrants:
- reDRagon def. Caprice Coleman & Will Ferrara - reDRagon def. The House of Truth (Joey Daddiego & Chris LaRusso) - The Young Bucks def. reDRagon - The Young Bucks def. "Brutal" Bob Evans & Tim Hughes - The Young Bucks def. The Addiction - Roppongi Vice def. The Young Bucks
Also appears that Omega and The Bucks will be in 6-Man Tag action at the 14th Anniversary Show. Sounds like pretty much the weakest tapings they've done in a long time.

I binge watched this year's episodes over the weekend because I'd been doing a bad job making time for ROH for a while. They're on quite a tear right now I think. The top prospect tournament is my favorite yearly thing. Colby Corino made a believer out of me because his match with Punisher Martinez was awesome, and though I love the storyline I didn't see much in Colby himself. Martinez himself looks like he can be great. Pretty interesting how ROH is starting to accrue a larger roster between War Machine, Dijak, Moose, Beer City Brawler and Martinez if he sticks around.
The Roderick Strong heel turn is cool, I love the idea of Roderick strategically tapping out where Todd Sinclair couldn't see it to get out of the hold but I think they had Roddy lay the heel act too thick afterwards and could stand to have had him play innocent for a while before he officially flipped the switch.
Michael Elgin's convoluted set up to the tag match with the Briscoes was hilarious. "You beat me tonight but it wasn't a singles match, you and your Brother are always hanging out, I wrestle in Japan, Tanahashi's Japanese. TAG MATCH." Such a strange conclusion to spontaneously come to.

The Strong heel turn thing I'm still not sure exactly what/where they're going with. Is he officially a heel now? Is Bobby Fish a face because Kyle is a face? Fish's hipster-trolling isn't all that different from his heel work, so it strikes me as very heel-heel. How does this affect the Roddy vs the World, which is a very face thing to do (and is my favorite use of Strong perhaps ever).

ROH just announced Tomohiro Ishii vs Hirooki Goto for the 14th Anniversary.
Personally, I'm all for it. It'll be a great showcase match and this officially makes it the closest I'll ever get to a live NJPW show

Somewhat disappointing. Goto/Ishii should be dope, but I wanted to see them mix it up with ROH guys.

How does this affect the Roddy vs the World, which is a very face thing to do (and is my favorite use of Strong perhaps ever). I wonder if the parallel between Roddy vs. The World and the John Cena US Title Open Challenge made them uncomfortable and threw this in to shake it up and make it different? To me Roderick is the clear heel. They put a lot of effort in him late last year with the Lethal feud in establishing that he fancies himself the best wrestler in the world and though he didn't break any rules with his faux tap-out, it's not exactly a dignified tactic, and him coming out angry the show after Final Battle with an attitude and telling fans to shut up it's a clear enough change of character that it tells me Roddy is the bad guy. The narrative makes sense, Roderick Strong initiates his open challenge while riding on a high after a series of matches with Jay Lethal that made him feel like he was the best in the world, doesn't take Fish as seriously as he should have and almost loses it before his reign really amounted to anything. I like that story, and I thought that Final Battle match finish was brilliant, I just wish they had Roderick's response in the aftermath be a little more realistic and I would have liked them to have his open challenge deal ride out a little more before Fish revealed the chink in the armor.

Heck of a missed opportunity in not booking them against some ROH stars but it is what it is and the match should be good regardless.

That is only for the PPV, they tapings the next day where matches against ROH talent would probably be better served. Use it to prop the TV show.

IMO, Goto and Ishii should have been booked against Cole and Strong, respectively. I don't have a problem with seeing them go against each other again because I've enjoyed their previous matches, but it would have been nice to see some matches we haven't seen before and will have few opportunities to see again. I'm guessing they're saving them for War Of The Worlds/Global Wars, though.

New ROH set up in action That looks fantastic honestly. It looks way more professional than their older ones and makes them look more like a legitimate company. Ya I think this is a good move. First-rate wrestling but third-rate production standards doesn't really work in terms of taking the show to the next level and garnering mainstream appeal. Good to see Sinclair making an investment in ROH.

ROH's website has an image up on their main page for the Anniversary 6man tag. It says KUSHIDA but it has a picture of Alex Shelley. LOL

is it just me or has ACH lost a lot of steam in the last year in terms of standing on the indies?

Seems ever since he had his issues getting to Canada to face Lethal a few years back, his momentum has steadily gone down hill. The impression that I get is that ROH likes him and clearly sees something in him (hence why they locked him down on a contract) but he's got some maturity issues (or at least, had some) that made them get cold feet on fully committing until he develops a bit more. I'm still holding out hope he can be a mega star.
