In football, we qualified for state except for my freshman and sophomore year. Senior year, we actually won our district, but still lost first round of the playoffs. Heck, they still made playoffs for another 5 years after I graduated.
Our girls' basketball team was the bread and butter of our school. Between 1993 and 2009, we made the state tournament 12 out of 17 seasons, winning two state championships and one runner-up, and semis four times.
We were also fairly decent in track, with quite a few making it to state every year.
Unfortunately, the school closed back in May 2014, with pretty much the last thing to go was football, which was down to 6-man by the last couple of seasons. Fortunately, they won the last game ever, 39-33.

Pretty much the reason any school shuts down anymore: Lack of funding, expenses grew too much. I heard a rumor that we helped pay some expenses for another school off the books and that they would pay us back in the future, but it never happened. But, it's just a rumor. They consolidated with a school about 28 miles west of town. The elementary school still runs (K-6 I believe), but I've heard that may shut down in the near future as well. I remember last year when the other school invited our alumni to their homecoming game, I was like, "F*** that! I'm no damn Wildcat. I'm a God Damn Raider!!!!" So, it's been kind of a jump here and there for HS team followings for me. Last couple of years, I followed my racing friend's two years in football and basketball. I also kinda follow my mom's old high school. And I also follow Permian High School in Texas, just because of Friday Night Lights.

My school was good in the mid-90's. Reached the state championship one year and the state semi's the next two. Then a gradual downfall. Always competitive in the section, but wiped in states. This year, they beat the #1 team in the state in the regular season finale, and just won their first playoff game.

Football- a joke, usually somewhere between 1-9 and 5-5 depending on the season Basketball- mediocre, men's is semi-decent, women's is worse because of executive meddling Baseball- mediocre as well Softball- one of the best teams in the state of Ohio and semi-regularly in the Top 25 High School teams in the nation; has won the state title and finished in the Top 4 three times in the last ten years

Football - Good, occasionally great. Only extended run we had was my freshman year, but we're 8-0 right now. Basketball - Don't know. Never really found out. Softball - Very good. Baseball - Great. Won the state title my sophomore year.

Football - Great ages ago before I was born, it's a joke now Basketball - LOL Boys Soccer - Better than when I went to school Girls Soccer - Eh Wrestling - BEASTS, lost count of how many consecutive League titles we've won, consistently one of (if not) the best in the county and region. Look up Coach Stan Woods, he is a Wrestling Coaching God </JBL> Baseball - 5-time NJ Group 1 State Champs (small schools), won last year's championship 3-1

Soccer - We were very good but we could never win the big game. Volleyball - Great. Boys Basketball - Very good. Girls Basketball - Was consistently our best team. Baseball - Terrible and I mean Bad News Bears bad. Softball - Okay. Football - Didn't have a team because our school was too small.

I also forgot that our volleyball team was fairly good the past 20 years or so before they closed. Not top of state, but still decent.

Football--Buffalo Bills. Had some really, really good teams. Went to the state finals twice in my run there and the semifinals the other two years. Never could get over the hump, and didn't after I left. Have fallen from "perennial powerhouse" to "solid," but still a good name. Basketball--Had some good teams when I was in school, finishing 2nd in 2002 and 2008. Have fallen on hard times recently.
Baseball--For years, our biggest underachiever. Always seemed to find ways to make key errors at the worst possible time. However, just won the 2015 state title with a young team.
Softball--Awful, but showing signs of improvement after hiring a coach who won 4 straight state titles at a smaller neighboring school.
Volleyball--Improving, but in a tough area. Tough to make a move there.
Girls basketball--Had a shot one time to make a run, but lost in the regional finals on a last-second 3 to the eventual state champions. Never got close again.
Golf--Just won a state title. Have been a very good team over the last 10 years.
Tennis--Went from laughingstock to regional power. Still can't beat the schools from down south.

No idea how they're doing now. But when I went the soccer team was supposed to be really good and the football team was really bad.

My HS wrestling program was the only sport we had when I was in school that was worth a damn. If they didn't go to state, they at least got pretty close.
Our varsity football team was a joke. In the 90s they were a perennial contender, but when I went to school (01-05) they didn't win at all my freshman or sophomore year, and might've won just once or twice my junior and senior years. The steep dropoff was due to our coach stepping down to take over, odfly enough, the girls softball team.
Speaking of which, that coach must've known what he was doing because our softball team was pretty solid all four years I went to school while he coached them. My senior year I think they even won state (or a major title of some kind, I can't remember what).
Basketball, baseball, track, XC, I didn't really keep tabs on.

Football-Decent, made the state Elite 8 last year. Sent people to MAC schools, one guys playing at USC, another starts at LB for West Michigan as a Sophomore.
Basketball-Pretty good. We got a new coach two years ago who really helped the program. One guy who played while I was here starts at Northwestern as a Sophomore, another is a benchwarmer at Providence. We've got guys recruited by some power 5 schools this year too (my friend says Michigan recruiters were here recently).

Football team in the playoffs for the second year in a row. When I played we kinda sucked, but the divisions changed and they're always having good years now.

We were good against the lower/mid-level teams of our 'tier' but got smoked by the higher level teams from Edmonton/Calgary. We were probably playing one level above where we were suited to, though.
