Not really, Joe still continued to be a draw, and while they waited too much time in my opinion to book it, Lockdown 08, when Joe defeated Angle for the belt, they sold about 60 thousand buys. What killed Joe was when they turned him into a budgeted Umaga. Then the f***ing ninjas....NINJAS! KIDNAPPING! TV! Joe's aura was killed for me when Angle debuted and beat him clean in 13 minutes. It's like they found their new plaything and the first thing they wanted to do was make sure it proved its superiority over the old toy. Yeah, they gave him the win 2 years later and it sold well, but It could've done much better if Joe still had his aura at that point of the unbeatable Samoan badass. Yeah, it was a waste. His first match was going to be a draw, anyway, having him face Joe wasn't necessary that early.

In hindsight they made a mistake, but back then the only thing they knew was that they signed Kurt fn Angle. They saw a multi time champion, a big name, and a recognizable global superstar. f*** man, he main evented wrestlemania in 06. Running the company I would've made Angle my main focus. Probably even booking him to beat Joe. It wasn't like the match happened that quickly, they advertised it and build it for months, they had a brawl before BFG and a segment in BFG. After the loss Joe stayed hot, he was still a main eventer and a draw, but after they changed his gimmick it all went to shit. You're right maybe they should've built the match for a longer time, but they were desperate they needed to get money soon and justify Angle's signing. But without hindsight, Angle was the way to go.

When they killed any credibility for the knockouts when Hogan came on.

Dixie clinging to hogan's leg when he walked out. I was really looking forward to the giant, orange goblin finally leaving tna, and I was expecting him to defeated by heels that would brag about forcing hogan to leave. Instead, hogan gave one last kick to our groins by making himself look too good for the company. Even more infuriating when you consider how Sting and AJ weren't given even close to that much dignity on their way out.

They should at less waited until the next on the road PPV to try and use it as a way to fill the arena as well and gain ticket sales. A match like that shouldn't have been in a sound Studio.

Jeff Hardy being rewarded for being a drugged out jackass by getting his little redemption and beating Austin Aries for the Title.

Stoned out of his mind champion Jeff Hardy. That showed how little the company cared about anyone in their employ.

This begins and ends with Daffney, in my opinion.

When it became clear how they'd screwed Jesse Sorensen. I was angry about Daffney and hoped that being sued and losing would be a lesson to them but they did the same thing to him, even milking his recovery on TV while leaving his family to foot the bill, keeping him employed long enough for people to stop caring. I stopped watching and will never watch again while Dixie Carter is involved.

Lockbox Challenge
Blatant attempt to bury the women, especially Daffney.

A lot of talk about Samoa Joe here.
Losing to Angle? Personally speaking it didn't kill off his aura, and he did have a short series with Angle following Genesis '06. Really not that bad.
The switch up to Umaga knockoff with a penis painted on his face? Oh yeah, that was stupid, but nothing that got me shouting at the TV, just laughing my ass off.
What became my boiling point with TNA was how much effort they put into that crappy gimmick, having Joe "kill" the members of the MEM, and reach the top of the KOTM ladder to put the World title belt over the ring...AND HE HANDS IT OFF TO KURT f***ING ANGLE, REVEALING HIMSELF TO BE A MEMBER OF MEM.
A second opportunity for Joe to become champion, wasted, ALL BECAUSE SOME f***ASS FROM NEW YORK THOUGHT IT'D BE A GREAT f***ING SWERVE TO PULL ON A BUNCH OF PEOPLE WHO WERE BEGGING FOR SOMETHING FRESH IN THE MAIN EVENT SCENE, SOMEONE THAT WASN'T A WWE OR WCW CASTOFF, BUT NOOOOOOOOPE! f*** THAT SHIT, I'M VINCE f***ING RUSSO, AND I'M IMMUNE TO YOUR CRIES OF BULLSHIT! GO WHINE ABOUT ME ON THE INTERNET AND SEE HOW FAR IT GETS YOU!
I could feel my muscles tighten up just typing about it, THAT'S how mad it gets me!

Debuting RVD, then allowing Sting to pummel him with a baseball bat for 10 minutes.

Their treatment of people that work for them.
From things like their treatment of Daffney to the CONSTANT late/missed payments of their production crew... and countless other things that could be mentioned.
Especially galling because Dixie tries/tried to project that TNA isn't some company they're a family at one point.

Easily the Monday 1/4/10 show with the debut of Hogan. I spent all of 2009 as a huge TNA fan who thought the product was far superior to WWE's and that they were completely on the right track moving forward.
And then they put on that abortion of a show that started with Jeff Hardy debuting in the middle of a giant clusterf*** and it just got worse (Val Venis and Orlando Jordan) and worse (Nasty Boys) and worse (ending with a nonsensical nWo reunion and closeup of Hogan's mustache). I instantly knew that the product I had come to love in the previous year was done.

The Kurt Angle/Samoa Joe Lockdown 2008 build up.
It was so well done. A match built simply based on two guys hating each other and wanting to prove who was the best between them with little else in terms of ridiculous angles. It's also one of the few TNA Pay Per Views I actually bought on DVD.
The reason why I'm angry though? It just showed you just what the company was capable of. It showed you that if they just kept things simple and built easy to follow storylines that people would watch their product. That people would pay for their product. That they could have some measure of success.
But no, immediately after that it was right back to the status quo, what with Joe's horrible horrible TNA World Heavyweight title run where he was booked as a whiny babyface.
It showed you that they were perfectly equipped of booking a coherent, entertaining product, yet for some reason they refused to learn from their successes and instead built on their countless failures.

None. I try my best to not let things I have no control over and things that really do not effect me personally make me angry.
