Stand-out names for me:
Gamera vs. Jiger (getting that close to covering all original Gamera films)
The Million Eyes Of Sumuru (a movie that they already did...back during the KTMA Season 0 days)
Doctor Mordrid (the name sounded familiar...it is a movie I read a text review of on badmovies.de a long time ago and which is notable for its stupid German release title: "Rexosaurus").

I have BEYOND ATLANTIS and THE MASK unriffed. I like the 3D segments of THE MASK a lot, they're nice and trippy.

Doctor Mordrid started out as a Doctor Strange movie, until the studio lost the rights.
Not wanting to let to the script go to waste, they changed the character names and pressed on.
So, if you ever wondered how a Doctor Strange movie would have been in the 90's, here you go.

What better way to celebrate Christmas, than with this classic!

While it's not MST3K, here's another Christmas classic...from Rifftrax!

Season 13 starts TONIGHT for backers with "Santo In The Treasure of Dracula". Ahh, what a Friday - two of my favorite fandoms simultaneously in wrestling and MST3K.
Creators have stressed patience in the process, and that's okay. I'm willing to forgive technical mishaps as it's happened with nearly every streaming service out there (my memories of Tyler Breeze's entrance looping on NXT Takeover Arrival are all evidence).
As for creatively, I'm slightly anxious that a smaller production crew might result in less quality control --- I've seen way too many independent crowdfunded productions fall flat for that reason. But this is largely the same group of people who did Seasons 11 and 12, they're a talented group of people with a time-tested formula.
Looking forward to finally exploring the Gizmoplex in the not too distant future...

Started with a nice little message from Joel, and went immediately into...technical difficulties. Which, honestly, I was expecting, things like this never get off to a perfect start, especially on a scale like this.
At least we know Joel's live, because he jumped back on to let us know they're working on it and it should be ready to roll in about 10 minutes.

And technical difficulties were had. I'm not too upset. Like I said, I've been through too many of these launches to know it was nearly inevitable.
The few frames I saw of the intro, honestly, were fairly rough around the edges vfx-wise. They did say some of it was still a work in progress...does that include the intro?

It feels more like the pre-netflix mst3k. The jokes are at a much less rapid pace.

Wasn't the girl supposed to take over for Jonah this season? Or was that just live shows?

Wasn't the girl supposed to take over for Jonah this season? Or was that just live shows? My understanding was she gets a few, Jonah gets a few, Joel gets a few, and all three of them do the Holiday Special.

Wasn't the girl supposed to take over for Jonah this season? Or was that just live shows? There are 5 Jonah eps, 5 Emily eps, 2 with Joel and a holiday one with all three of the hosts together.

I really, really liked this episode. This dub and film were just too wild.
I don't want to seem too harsh in my criticism of their vfx and audio --- the crew said the episodes were still unfinished and it seems a few of the rough stuff will be ironed out by the time the general premiere hits.
The writing and performances are just TOO good. I won't spoil but Jonah and Baron Vaughn as Servo do some GREAT wrestling tributes in one host segment.
I'm more than okay with them adopting the Paul Heyman "accentuate the positives" philosophy. This series has always had a homemade aesthetic so in the scheme of things, it really doesn't bother me.
