Alright here's the situation. I don't have the time to run one of these shows, and I honestly no longer have the drive for it.
Would anyone like to take over?

Yeah I feel like we kind of need some sort of State of the Union or something.

Waffel, FJ, and I are discussing things right now and determining a course of action. So we don't have an answer or state of the union just yet, but ideally would have one soon enough.

Hey yall this place looks like it could use some new(ish) blood so if youd have me back Id pick Up Big E, Lance Action and tag the Undertaker to one of them on WCW.

I'll be writing up an announcement later tonight. That being said, lucifer is still not allowed to play here after admitting to rigging votes through alt accounts of his friends and intentionally bullying others.

Hi everyone! Hope you're gearing up for a happy holidays! I have a big announcement regarding WCW, WWE, and WU as an entity but I first wanted to provide some context behind this decision. Basically: Both Waffel and FJ have been feeling quite a bit of burnout as general managers and I think it is safe to say that some of the original passion and excitement that came with this relaunch has dispelled. As I've stated several times, this is a game and it should not and can not become more important than your real life and your experiences here should be amplifying, not detracting from other aspects of involvement each of us may have. There was thought and discussion placed to getting rid of the WWE brand and either having WCW as a supershow or keeping it restricted to the people on it now. The problem with that is that it is a short term solution and not addressing the largest issue: commitment. This game is fun but feels like a very large commitment. For the writers: Expected promos every week it feels like, the game keeps going on no matter how busy you are. For the GMs: Weekly time commitments, trying to organize everything, book shows, find ways to keep people involved, communicate with everyone. It's a hassle on both ends in the current format. Which is why we're changing the format. At this point and time both WCW and the WWE as entities are on break. The weekly episodic television shows and ppvs are no longer set to take place. Instead, we are looking to a touring/tournament style sort of show instead. Similar in vein to the "mafia game" style of doing things (and I'll expand on this later). The way this will work is that there is one WU thread, which I will keep up to date and edit, where each writer makes their claims to their wrestlers. It would also be another avenue to advertise and link to tournaments. That's all the WU thread would be for. From there, anyone interested in hosting a tournament are more than capable of doing one. We strongly encourage anyone and everyone to give it a try and create their own tournament. The host creates their own thread and explains A) The number of participants B)Number of each entry (Singles/Tag/Trio/Mixed Gender) C)Single or Double Elimination, Round Robin, etc. D)Match types and any other information that they deem relevant. You can even add stipulations like "in the finals, the loser must unmask" as long as you clearly advertise those stipulations before the tournament begins. Once the thread is created, any writer with a character is allowed to sign their superstar up for the tournament. Say Superalbino is hosting a Trio "No Established Teams" Tournament and I really want to be a part of it, I could sign up Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, and Mil Muertes (all people I have owned/tag-ruled). The host has their tournament and the winner wins. This method is a strong way to remove that feeling of heavy "commitment" and make it feel like much more manageable chunks. I'm not signing up to write for a wrestler for every single week... only when I find a tournament that interest me and I have the time/availability to do it. I'm not hosting a show forever... I'm hosting one tournament that may take a month at most. It is like the mafia games, you find one that interest you. You play it. You're not interested in one? Don't play it. You're interested but busy? Maybe sit it out this time. This is a way of lightening the load for everyone and allowing people to still have fun playing this game. Likewise: Storylines can grow and develop throughout these tournaments. Whether it's a tag star attempting to adapt for a singles tournament, an underdog becoming a cinderella story, a top star consistently losing early in this tournaments and getting angry/jealous of others success, it's completely possible to still create a fun narrative and character development through these games. Plus if a tournament catches on it become a big deal. The Spart-1 Climax can become a yearly tradition. That's where the fun of hosting these tournaments can come from, building up a legacy and making them memorable moments for characters. Or even just throwing a ton of odd stipulations and seeing writers work their magic. If you want to create a Double Elimination Two out of Three Falls Tables tournament, you can. And at the end of the day, some character will have the honor of being able to claim that they are the best at it. And someone else will be able to claim that they just got lucky. In a sense, this move is now giving you all more control of your characters. Now you're choosing when they're booked and what sort of style. It's a chance to give you more of a say as to what happens with your characters and more importantly, able to cater to when you're busy, when you know you're free, and without it becoming too much of a stressor. As I said, we are switching from a weekly episodic show to now a tour/tournament based one. Are there any questions regarding this format, what it means, and how they would operate? I'd be more than willing to answer here over the next week before I create the new thread and the games officially re-begin. Either way, I hope you're all excited. Because this was done by listening to your feedback and your concerns and to make this game as fun as possible for all involved.

It would be the same way it is done now. Just post in the WU thread and drop a character and pick up a different one.
That would also be a viable option if someone wanted a chance to write for a wrestler once but maybe doesn't want to be stuck with them forever. Say I pick up Big E for a tournament, then swap him for someone else afterwards because I didn't really feel it. Potentially you could even constantly just write as a new wrestler for each tournament.
