That's not good. Hope it's just a precaution. If Edleman is out for an extended period of time that is going to cripple the Patriots pass game, it was severely lacking after he got hurt in the Giants Game, and that's a telling sign considering the Giants have one of the worst pass defenses in football... Edleman is the sure handed guy who is always there, if he's out, they're gonna have to rely on LaFell and Dobson who are honestly very unreliable at catching the ball...

He had to establish himself as a runner. Why? He was in the endzone. He did not need to run anywhere. This rule makes no sense under those circumstances. Oh I agree. But that's the way they drew up the rule so so they have to call it that way.

That was a safety. That rule is poorly defined. It is sad when Colinsworth is a voice of reason on a rule.

I don't think it'll necessarily "cripple" their offense, but it's obviously difficult to overcome the loss of the team's top receiving option. The reason the Giants defense had such success today wasn't because Julian Edelman was out for three quarters, it was because they were able to get pressure with only four pass rushers. If the offensive line can get healthy and give Tom Brady time in the pocket, he'll find the open receiver. But if he's constantly getting pressure from all sides and has less than three seconds to get rid of the ball, he's going to struggle, with or without Edelman.

As a Colts fan it is nice to see Dwight Freeney still having an effect on games, even if it isn't for my team anymore.

Horrible overly complicated rules that are having a negative impact on the games but Douchebag Blandino will dismiss everything with a wave of his XBOne controller.

Not that I don't want him out there but Brady dropped 200+ yards in a quarter without him in there.
Hopefully he's back for the playoffs

That was really scary. Credit to the Seattle fans for keeping it classy, though. Though you know it's a bad injury when division rivals are gathering together and praying.

A win tonight for Arizona would be a big moment of clarity for me for both of these teams, because coming into tonight, I wasn't sold on the Cardinals and I thought Seattle was still one of the better teams in the NFC. If Arizona can hang on and win in primetime in Seattle, I'll come around on them while at the same time acknowledging that the Seahawks might not be as good as I think they are.

Sounds like Iupati is going to be alright.
What would happen if a guy dies because of on-field injuries? Hopefully it never does, but one has to figure that it will eventually happen with guys getting bigger, stronger, and faster every year. Governmental intervention? New rules?

Looks like Michael Floyd just hauled in Touchdown Number 2, really gonna put Seattle on their heels.
