They seem to be putting a lot of effort in for what is to my knowledge two house shows and a PPV taping. Is Dixie expecting 10-15 thousand people to show up night after night and for India to be TNA's saviour?
For me if I were running a company the India thing would be a cool side project but I'd be trying to grow my business in my home area which for TNA is the United States. It's all well and good that they're doing a tour there but what happens when the tour of India is over and the tour of the UK ends?
So yeah, is it Dixie's Hail Mary? What happens if it fails?

Dixie will go wherever they are providing money, even India where in WWE people hate going there and that's for house shows. You got Khali backing you which is India's biggest draw and you got Shera who is the "hometown hero." Business says Shera will go over so TNA can make money but how much there is to be made is a whole different question.

The guy they was riding on to draw in fans for it got Conway popped the moment he showed up and did that stupid dance.
At best a few scant hundred will be there, which they will edit the noise to make it look and sound like there's triple the number

anyone know what kind of attendance numbers that the WWE pulled last time that they went to India? Got to figure that's the ceiling for TNA and they more than likely won't get close to those.

Well, I can't point blank say it will fail. I don't live in India, I don't know if an event like this has potential to draw fans in India and I don't know how big TNA is in India. For all I know they could be performing in front of 5000-6000 people each night.

For me if I were running a company the India thing would be a cool side project but I'd be trying to grow my business in my home area which for TNA is the United States. There's no room to grow any further in the States. They've completely tanked their public image, wasted every opportunity they've ever been given, and are a punchline. India's really their last chance, and even that is very unlikely to work given 1), it's not the best economy in the world, 2), it'll likely cost them too much to run there to profit from it as a result of that, and 3), WWE's setting their sights on India too.

Hard to say if there is going to be a true success that would make it a long term help save the company. The reality of it all is that they are a failing US wrestling company and the India guy is not that over. Khali as bad as he was stood out because he was a freaking giant. The issue is that they still have a unknown future on US TV and even they drew a decent crowd would that be enough to cover the cost of traveling?

They are taping at least a month of TV in India, including the semi-finals of the World Title tourney. They need India like they need the UK, that is where their money is. Sony Six, the India tv partner, is paying them a lot of money and covering all the costs of this tour I believe, The US is dead to them, they cannot survive on 200 paid, 900 comp'd for TV tapings away from Orlando.

This implies they're still in with a shot of winning this hypothetical game. I think they're down 100-0 at this point.
Most would just take a knee and get the hell off the field.

Like they don't want to get too unrealistic here.

It's like calling a timeout to talk about your gameplan with 10 seconds left in the 4th quarter and you are losing by 30

It's going to fail. If it were profitable to have shows in India, Ring Ka King would still be around, and they were doing huge ratings.
