Checking the poptv website. There's a show on there called Schitt's Creek. Yeah, this is the perfect fit for TNA. It has a 7.1 on IMDB and features Eugene Levy. Doesn't sound bad at all. A Canadian take on "Fawlty Towers"?

A Canadian take on "Fawlty Towers"? It also has a 50% on Rotten Tomatoes though and TV reviewers tend to be very generous so that's saying a lot.

And let's not kid ourselves, this is a stay of execution, not a new beginning. I'm not sure about POP's availability in homes versus Destination America, but the fact most of us were going "What the f*** is POP?" begs the question. Honestly the programming now feels like it's a skeleton crew. Imagine it a year from now. It has about 50% more than what DA does, but the difference is DA was paying TNA, TNA's paying POP and hoping to make the money back through ads directly after being kicked off a network because advertisers didn't want to run their commercials during Impact. Thanks for the info. Yikes, so as Platypus Mod said, a major cost without an upside. I mean who'd want to advertise on TNA?

If this doesn't work then Dixie will just buy her own network. Then they can't kick TNA off!

You know what, good luck to them. Every time I'm like "oh my god, this is the end," they just continue to prove me wrong. They have some talented guys on their roster that they can build around if they use them properly. Is the product for me right now? No, but the more wrestling is on TV, the more exposure the industry gets and the more the dudes that break their butts for us every week get paid. Good enough in my book. They do have UTA working with them and I feel like they'll be the folks trying to broker the advertising spots - it may end up working out for them in the long run. No, TNA's continued existence only serves to turn more and more TV networks off of pro wrestling programming, because they see what an abject failure TNA is on every level, and will be unwilling to take the chance on other, possibly more capably run, promotions. TNA is bad for wrestling.

A show long informercial featuring Dixie Carter telling EC3 that he doesn't measure up to Bobby Lashley which he takes as he needs a bigger penis.

See things like John Carter of Mars becoming John Carter because "Mars doesn't sell" So TNA failing constantly to them isn't because TNA is inept, it's Wrestling that isn't WWE doesn't sell.

Advertisers' aversion to pro wrestling has nothing to do with any one promotion and more to do with the fact that they still believe in the outdated stereotype that all wrestling fans are "lowest common denominator" types" who don't have the disposable income to purchase their products in the first place.

Ha, holy hell. Fair play to them. The Tna board lives and that's a good thing.

Will TNA even have a proper roster by next year with the latest rumors of people leaving?
It would be shocking if DA picks up GFW and they do a better rating than TNA....

Which is what his post is talking about.

Pop is the former TV Guide Channel, the channel that people only watch to see what on TV, actually the pop channel here still has the tv listing. Impact Wrestling: half screen edition. Also their going to be on Tuesday so they better hope that WWE doesn't decided to started airing smackdown live anytime soon.
