Well, I had a sudden brainwave for a new tourney, and after a little consultation with Cagematch, I believe I'm looking at the 64 men who constitute the core WWF Roster of 1990, and I plan to mix 'em up in a nice Lethal Lottery Tourney. There are no jobbers(with a few, heavily gimmicked exceptions), and no one-offs or special appearances. Should this go well, I hope to do more tourneys like this for each successive year. But for now, let's get into the business of round one, with our first two teams: Two conceited competitors brought together by chance, it's the ever arrogant "Ravishing" Rick Rude, and the man who brings Glory to Power and Glory, Paul Roma! vs. A true odd couple if there ever was one, it's a brilliant blend of power and technique, as the massive Andre The Giant teams with the technically savvy Hart Foundation representative, Bret "The Hitman" Hart! Let's say for round one, first team to five votes wins, game on!

Much to his teammate's dismay, Paul Roma proved easy pickings for his opponents, as Andre nailed him with a nasty punch into a Bret Hart Piledriver to eliminate Rude and Roma, as Andre and the Hitman move on to round two! And up next, two unlikely pairs square off, in this corner: Two talented aerialists, one a legendary veteran, and the other a tag team specialist, it's the team of "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka and one half of the Rockers, Shawn Michaels! vs. A unique combo of excellent technique and pure, raw power, it's legendary technician Mr. Perfect, and one half of the brutal Powers of Pain, The Barbarian!
