Well I doubt Kingston would ever get much of a serious look from the WWE... also isn't he a bit of an asshole backstage? I sometimes wonder how Quack (a notorious control freak) is the only guy whose consistently been able to put up with King. Anytime KIng gets a 2nd... or 3rd... or 4th chance in a bigger indy he blows it. Honestly, to a lot of indy wrestlers while WWE is the dream, you do anything you can to get your brand out there. And while TNA may not be the greatest company to work for several look at it as just the next step in their journey. Yeah but TNA has proven that it's not a good step to take. The pay isn't as good as it was in the past. They treat their guys like marks and without respect (with Jeff Jarrett burying the young bucks while they were under contract and what Dixie did to Tara). If you get injured they won't cover you and fire you (Jesse Sorensen and Desmond Wolfe). Every wrestler that leaves tna ends up burying the company, it's not a good place to work in.

I disagree, I still believe the tna stain is real, and most guys want to join nxt. Also the top echelon of the indies is making way more money there than they would be able to make at TNA. I don't know about that. Eddie Kingston been re-tweeting a lot of pro TNA stuff from the company and the wrestlers. Granted his girlfriend works for them but it is coming off like he's either got a job with them or angling to get one. So he's the Velvet Sky to Jade's Bully Ray? 'Honey, you better retweet this tweet I sent out about wanting a job for the WWE, now that you're back and all and you love me and such ...'

TNA fired him because he wanted to get back into the ring. The only reason why we are seeing a rush of TNA folks back into the indies is because they barely run house shows and do tapings. With how the new contracts are, you only get paid per show. No show, no dough. TNA is not the position anymore to call shots on where folks can and cannot work.

Does it really matter besides the bigger names (Angle, Hardys, Lashley) though? They all got that "TNA stink" that truly doesn't advance your wrestling career

Does it really matter besides the bigger names (Angle, Hardys, Lashley) though? They all got that "TNA stink" that truly doesn't advance your wrestling career TNA offers three things to advance a wrestling career. 1. They are probably the best place in the world for ex WWE guys who want to be lazy or are not great in the ring. This allows someone such as Tyrus to keep getting a pay cheque week in and week out whilst the indies can promote a "TNA Star" on their show. I imagine for a lot of the ex WWE guys the money is pretty decent and the exposure is better than zero exposure. 2. Guys who are good but not good enough for WWE can sign with TNA and get a second chance. Bram and EC3 are two great examples of this. 3. Talent who has never been exposed to a national audience gets exposed. People scoff at TNA but you can go from being a local Ohio independent guy to being somewhat known with just an appearance or two on Impact. That's more so the power of television compared to how great TNA is though. Apart from that, it's pretty much it. They aren't going to help you become a huge star or see the world but they'll throw you a little money (Whether it's paid on time or not is a different thing) and give you a little exposure. Sometimes that's all people want/need.

I think they did away with that rule, or got lax on it a while ago. I saw Kenny King and Eli Drake a few times in Future Stars of Wrestling during the BDC/Rising thing. And I've seen quite a few TNA talents appearing on House of Hardcore and Evolve iPPVs (even with Evolve having a working relationship with WWE).

They all got that "TNA stink" that truly doesn't advance your wrestling career I think it offers wrestlers a chance to show what they can do on a larger stage and in front of a bigger audience and a way for them to promote themselves. Also, it gives a second chance to wrestlers who may have been misused, i.e. Derek Bateman to ECIII and Bobby Lashley's title reign.

The Jesse who TNA promised a job for life and help pay his medical bills due to him breaking his neck on their watch. If I was talking about the other Jesse I would said the generic Chris Masters knockoff.

He has been doing jobber duty in NXT as while wrestling in Paragon.
