twitter.com/AdamSchefterAt least the early news on Gronk is good. There are also reports that he was standing and walking without crutches. Yeah saw a video of him walking after getting his x-rays. Just saw on NFL Network that Ian Rapoport says the patriots don't believe that it's a serious knee injury and they will update tomorrow.

Quite frankly, I don't give a single f*** that the Patriots lost tonight. Whatever, so they're 10-1. That's still a one-game advantage over every other team in the AFC for home-field advantage in the postseason. All I care about is the health of Rob Gronkowski, because without a healthy Gronkowski, this Patriots team isn't winning Super Bowl 50, and that's the only game that matters.
If the Patriots go 15-1 in the regular season and Gronkowski returns and New England wins the Super Bowl, I'll look back on tonight's loss as a blip on the radar. But if they go 15-1 in the regular season and Gronkowski's injury is severe and the Patriots lose in the postseason, then this loss was exponentially worse than just one single game. Of course I wanted them to go 19-0 to stick it to the league for everything they put Patriots fans through this off-season, but the only game that matters is the one in February and 16-0 doesn't mean s*** unless you're 19-0. At the end of the day, it's all about hoisting the Lombardi Trophy and if Gronkowski's injury isn't serious, the Patriots still have just as good a chance to do that as any other team in the league.

I would say that, but your team only had a missing starting QB and a missing offensive linemen. Your offense was healthy and New England was missing their top 3 receivers and even then, it took overtime to do so. Your guys deserve the credit for the win, but don't get too hyped about beating the undefeated guy who in that game became a one legged man in an ass kicking contest. This happens with every team every year. Every team could list off players they wish were healthy. My team was missing no fewer than 5-6 starters at this moment and another got hurt today. It happens to every team and the Patriots have always done well filling in for injuries because they do a better job establishing roster depth. Your team will be fine. Yeah....my team is Carolina.

Not bitter, I just don't want to hear anything about Denver now being the top of the AFC. So the Patriots fans get to crow on about their team being top dogs even if, as you say, they are too banged up to beat good teams that managed to not get as banged up this late into the season? The top dog is whoever can win at this moment in time. Hell no, New England doesn't get to crow about being the top dogs either. They are too injured to do that overall. Being the top dog doesn't come from one win. Look at overall.

I just don't like teams getting too high on their britches after a big win because in the DC area, I got enough of that BS after the Redskins dominated the Saints. Yes, I was hearing people say they could beat the Panthers and that the Panthers weren't strong.

Denver was the only team that I thought had a chance against New England and I was right. I like New England but I am happy that Denver won. Patriot fans should not be upset, because the Patriots will more than likely be in the Superbowl. New England can get their win back at the playoffs.

At least the beyond scraping the bottom of the barrel Patriots get the Eagles next week. That should allow some people to get some rest.
Heck, bench Brady for a game and wait for the Eagles to somehow score on themselves three times.

When the Skins were going to face the Patriots, everyone basically was talking about just playing them close as being a victory, but after the Saints game and against Carolina, they were talking about beating them.

At least Gronk seems to be alright so that's good. If I was Belichick, I'd check the free agency to see who can end up being a temporal replacement with Edelman out and possibly Amendola and Gronk being doubtful for next week.

Well that was a fun game. I still predict that the Pats win it all, but at least the ESPN blowing will be slightly less severe if it happens now. The question now is...do you go back to Peyton after all of this, or do you stick with this young Osweiler who might give the Broncos a new level of confidence?

He's better geared for everything and Denver has to know what they have in him. I know Kubes has said that Peyton starts the first game he is healthy which I think is more respect than talent and I hope he'd be on a short leash.

Even if Brock is mediocre he's a better option than Peyton. Manning was the worst QB in the league before going out. If Osweiler throws 5 TDs and 4 INTs over the next five games he's the brncos best option.
I'll also give the patriots credit, they actually showed balls last night. This wasn't a 50+ point blowout against a crap team. It was a gut check game against their closest competition with 7 of their 10 best players not in the game by the end. Strong effort.
Wound up being a good game, hopefully Gronk is ok and the patriots have a chance to get their win back

Ian Rappaport tweeted out that indications are that Gronk is expected to miss one game and may not even miss that.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, my name is Paul Heyman. And I am the one behind the one in 13-1. Now, some of you may be asking, "But Paul, the Patriots only won ten games before losing to the Broncos, and my client, BRRRRRRROOOOOOCK OSWEILER!!!!" And you would be correct, in assuming that I'm speaking about just this season alone." "You see, the Patriots had a winning streak going all the way back to the postseason last year. They won all 3 playoff games, including Super Bowl XLIX. So, in retrospect, the Patriots were 13-0 before they faced up against my client, BRRRRRRRROOOCK OSWEILER!!!" "And I know some of you are saying, "But Paul, the Patriots went 2-2 in the preseason. How does that work?" And to that, I have a very simple answer: Nobody counts the preseason, you moron. Nobody cares about the preseason. If they did, the Lions would be 4-16 in 2008 instead of the infamous 0-16." "But I'm getting offtrack. I'm here to state that my client, BRRRRRRRROCK OSWEILER, CONQUERED THE UNDEFEATED STREAK OF THE NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS!!!!"
