Depends on how stupid/guillible the people working on it are that day.

And this is why TNA needs to scale back costs. They shouldn't be paying $100000 right now. They need to take a bit of a hit to their production and repurpose that to the talents. Not only have they already scaled back production, but they've become noteworthy for being difficult to get to even pay their production. Aside from the fact that the production people deserve the money for their work just as much as the wrestlers do, I don't think their cost cutting measures are to keep the wrestlers paid. That money would simply not be written out of daddy's checkbook instead. They need to scale back even further. Like the OP stated, even with their current budget cuts, TNA's production is better than any non-WWE promotion out there, and thus more costly. There are small, barely known, indy promotions putting out quality content with an even smaller budget. TNA needs to bite the bullet, accept that they are no longer the #2 promotion and actually try to work within whatever allowance they're getting from Bob rather than spending money on things they don't need or constant Hail Mary plays that cost more money than it makes back. All TNA needs are venues to set up the ring, 2-4 cameramen (who can be equipped with lower cost handheld cameras) and an editor to chop the footage and create the final product for broadcast. If they whittled down to a skeleton crew, and cut everything down to indy level (which can still be of respectable quality), even if paying Pop for a timeslot, they'd ultimately save money in the long run.

Dude, if TNA scaled back any further, they would have the same production value and roster as a indie located in East Tennessee. No one here wants to see that. I rather they just die than suffer that fate. I don't get your logic. You rather they become a super low rent indie so people can still work for a near dead promotion and earn shit wages because you are worried the sucky ones won't be able to get work without them. They can do that on their own. Don't TNA around for that.

TV Stations want a professional product. TNA can't just scale back to independent level because the TV station would be upset with them because of that and probably cut them loose at the end of their contract. Also, as the above poster said I don't think anyone ever wants to see TNA in such a state that they legitimately look like an indy. It'd be too sad.

I want them to become "low rent" so that they can prioritize the talents' wages ahead of all the other frills.

They will however cut their pay even more. You keep sticking to that severely flawed talking point. TNA does not have this surplus of hidden cash. Janice Carter cut their unlimited access to Panda Energy's money. What is the f***ing point of working for TNA if they are a bigger joke than their current status?
