I will personally GUARENTEE that Bredlew J. Maddox Esq. will become another EC3. TNA mining gold and reaping the sweet sweet ratings benefits from WWE's misses. He will make some variation of 'pricks, pricks, pricks' the next big catch-phrase. Better than a-hole and 'it's damn real'. They're pricks. They're proud. And they're protruding. #NewBoomPeriod

You'd have to be desperate and deluded to go to TNA thinking you could get any kind of exposure or growth there by this point.

Another WWEject coming in and getting an automatic push and run at the expense of other talent?
Why not

You'd have to be desperate and deluded to go to TNA thinking you could get any kind of exposure or growth there by this point. To be fair, WWE has marginalized so many people into the ground that even current TNA would be a step up for some of them. While TNA won't do much for an established Indy alumni like Sami Callahan, it could still do a little for someone like Brad Maddox who never amounted to much in WWE and would likely never break into the big indies.

While TNA won't do much for an established Indy alumni like Sami Callahan, it could still do a little for someone like Brad Maddox who never amounted to much in WWE and would likely never break into the big indies. Beinng marginalized in WWE is still a step up from being a guy 'breaking out' on Pop TV. There's no exposure and barely any audience left, and the audience that is there will take convincing that he's not just another "TNA grabs WWE castoff" case. The ones who have succeeded in doing so, like Christian and EC3, are heavily outweighed by the ones who didn't; it takes talent to overcome that stigma, and I don't personally think he's got enough to actually make that work for him. Not to mention the fact that TNA could marginalize him just as easily, and in fact as much as WWE's writing is constantly shat on, TNA's is often even worse and even less consistent. It's not a good paycheck and it's not exposure actually worth a damn anymore, but if he does indeed have the spark and talent to make it work for himself, then at some point he'll rise up in the indies as something all his own. I don't know why anyone would wish being part of a company that's exploitative and full of shit even by wrestling standards on someone they like.

I heard right now he's choosing to keep his options open and just collecting empty cans on the highway.

You'd have to be desperate and deluded to go to TNA thinking you could get any kind of exposure or growth there by this point. I've said it before on this board but if you're a former WWE guy it makes sense to wrestle for TNA. They allegedly give their guys some type of weekly payment which is good for the weekends you're not booked on the indies and it keeps you in wrestling promoters minds. If I were a former WWE guy I'd go to TNA and just take it easy. Wrestle their 15 dates a year, make their money and wrestle for the indies.

I mean, he does love desolate caves. But why would he want to go to a cave that has more rats scurrying around?

Another WWEject coming in and getting an automatic push and run at the expense of other talent? Why not To be fair, who else do TNA have outside of ECIII, Lashley and a barely relevant Matt Hardy? Bringing in a guy like Maddox wouldn't be a bad thing if he does good. ECIII was a WWEject to start off with and look where he is now. TNA need guys like Maddox who are young and have something to prove rather than people clinging on to old fame like Kurt Angle (now without moonsaulting from a cage action!) and Matt Hardy.
