People can really remember things in groups of seven, so you know they'll try to job Mercury next. Vince is crazy enough to do it. Put Paul E in charge of the planets 10!!01!@rz

My first though was: Who cares?
But then I realized... How much money and time did this mind-blowing discovery require???
With all the due respect to researchers and scientists... don't we have more important things to think about, instead of debating wheter Pluto is or isn't a planet?

I would laugh if they axed Earth next. Under the current rules it's actually possible. You may or may not know this but our Moon Luna moves away from us every year and in about a billion years it'll be far enough away to escape Earths gravity and so Earth will objects in it's "neighborhood" that it hasn't "cleaned up" and since that's why Pluto is not a Planet, Earth itself would no longer be considered a Planet. Sounds dumb, but if those are the rules, then those are the rules

I don't get why they choose now, to not call it a planet anymore.
Sure they've discovered things that are bigger than Pluto, but it's part of the solar system and has been since the 90s, why change it? Science classes will change now.

Two of the bigger ones keep an even distance from it (one leading it by about a 60 degree arc, and the other trailing it from a similar distance). Not only that, but there is one of note that has a truly f***ed up path that has the Earth's gravity switching it's direction back and forth. It goes clockwise around the sun until several months later it encounters Earth again and it yanked and sent counterclockwise until it meets the Earth again. Technically it could be said to have an unending year since it never gets to complete it's rotation around the sun.

Sigh. Doesn't have the same ring.
Poor Pluto. Decades from now, how will be understand the wonderful humor used involving your name.
How will they understand the hilarity of Pluto Nash!?
