I didn't know M. Night Shyamalan was on the show.
And no David Herman? Boo.

Bret Hart should show up to attack Will Sasso, like old times. I'm seriously going to mark if Sasso comes out as Stone Cold during the reunion. I also hope Andy Daly will be there because he's awesome. Andy Daly is legit my favorite MadTV alum, but it's entirely due to stuff he's done outside of MadTV (like, his Earwolf podcast appearances and Review).

The funny thing is that when he was on the show, he was hilarious but kinda unmemorable. If memory serves me right, he was almost always a supporting character and rarely ever the star of a sketch.

I seem to recall a sketch where Andy introduced himself to people on the street as something like "the guy that reacts to the characters on MadTV." Also, full disclosure, I've always preferred SNL over MadTV. There was a long stretch where I did not care for MadTV at all.

MadTv was a great alternative to SNL when it was going through it's unfunny period (not unlike now). I can't wait to see this.

Did Stephnie Weir do all of her memorable characters, like "Old lady with jittery Southern accent", and "Wacky teenager with jittery Southern accent", and "Nurse with jittery Southern accent"?

I watched. I didn't laugh much. Just like when it was originally on.

I'd forgotten how horrid a show that was. I laughed at very little. I also never knew that's where Key & Peele (moreorless) made their name. (I posted a list of my fav MADtv people last night on Twitter - and one of them liked it - and yes, it was Orlando Jones , who if you watched that show barely saw anything about. ) And no David Herman? Boo. Oh, Dave Herman is basically a hermit when he's not working, and even then he picks & chooses what he does. He works just low enough on the animation radar (name projects, but lots of ancillary roles) to not be needed for promotion and such. He was part of the last SDCC Futurama panel a few years ago, and I seem to recall reading the people on the panel was still amazed he actually showed up.
