True. Not his fault the camera was completely on him. I'm just stunned that after many years of almost NEVER having problems with camera work, the WWE has completely RUINED a lot of cool visual moments in the last several. Yeah first one I think of is they had this long shot of Neville getting grabbed and lead up to being thrown over the top rope (for a faux elimination but still) but right as he started going over they cut to Roman walking away... The one that tops my list is WrestleMania 30. When Austin's music hits, they focus on the entranceway. A couple seconds, nothing, then they decide to cut back to Hogan's face - not a bad idea, it was nice seeing Hogan's stern face and nodding head - except that JUST AS THEY CHANGE THE SHOT, Austin had started to come out. Maybe Austin missed his cue, but a mighty wrench tossed into that epic WM30 opening. Sort of the opposite of what happened last night - except that at least Styles had an active titantron video to focus on which revealed the entrant to the crowd...

This was my 1st wwe ppv since mania I enjoyed it for the most part here's some thoughts: Camera work was terrible throughout the entire show. Owens was the star of the show to me.Crazy last man standing match and it's odd to see someone sell in wwe. new day vs Usos was fine.Kofi seemed off. Adr vs Kalisto was boring.Adr makes me sleepy. Charlotte vs Becky did nothing for me.The finish and post match made Becky look like a jobber. Was glad they are doing something with Sasha. Rumble was okay.Glad Aj got a good reaction but his booking was terrible he did nothing other than eliminating Axel,He got beat up by everybody and failed multiple times to hit the styles clash. The people I watched with only watch wwe and have never seen him and weren't impressed. They are killing Brock feuding with the Wyatts is a Death. The dueling rapid fire punches is a great spot was overdone on this show it reminded me of in recent years when everybody had to skin the cat quality control was poor.It was nice to see Ambrose in final 2.Was glad to see they put the belt on someone new it's shows they've learned some lessons.Vince's foot work in celebration was masterful.

You know the product is in the f***ing shits when the finish of the championship main event can be predicted by SARCASM.
I really shouldn't make broad statements like this in the heat of the moment. The show was pretty damn good, especially the Rumble up until HHH shows his nose. I loved AJ getting a moment with Roman. Lots good storytelling in general. Ambrose and Owens tore it up. Brock suplexing the entire ring was spectacular.
I just want HHH to have a long and healthy life and do not wish him to suffer any major injuries that would go against FAN's Rules. That's all I ask for.

A few things:
1. Best ppv I've watched in quite some time. Nor really a bad match on the show.
2. Kalisto must have one hell of a headache after spiking himself against Alberto the River.
3. Dean Ambrose is inhuman and he and Kevin Owen had the match of the night and for sure a Match of the Year candidate. Also Kevin Owen is surely broken at this point.
4. AJ f***ING STYLES!!!
5. I am still in shock and disbelief that I actually saw AJ Styles in the Royal Rumble.
6. Even more shocking was the crowds reaction to AJ Styles. They lost their freaking minds!
7. Lastly even though Stevie Wonder could have seen that ending coming a mile away, it was still awesome.
Well done WWE. Well done

In my opinion, it was the best 30-man rumble since 2007.

Did worry when Roman disposed of Rusev before #3 came out.. Thought it would be Roman dominating for the first 5 or so entrants.

I thought AJ's entrance was ruined by the shitty camera work. He should have received the pull back shot and the theme hits with "I am" flashing on the tron, followed by "phenomenal". I think the entrance could have been a million times better. Lights go out, theme hits, his name fades onto the tron. Yeah. I keep asking myself why I didn't mark out during his entrance and I think this is the reason. I marked out but it wasn't the same. I said in another thread I got more goosebumps from that fan-shot video of his debut than I did of the official one. To me it's a candidate for Maffew to look at.

Rewatching the Rumble match, just as good as first watch, certainly in the good - excellent column of Rumble matches
And not to the surprise of me, to me ADR got the Conway pop of the Rumble. Just seen it again now, could hear a pin drop. FORMER WORLD CHAMPION, 40 MAN RUMBLE WINNER (CHARISMA VACUME)

Way to utterly ruin whatever goodwill Reigns had finally built up, WWE. This Rumble SUCKED. Going to disagree with you there, while it is true the finish sucked the rest of the match was absolutely terrific. I'm glad they didn't do the obvious 'Reigns wins lol' thing they've done since Survivor Series. It was unpredictable while not the best choice.

Great Rumble! Really really fun Rumble match, terrifically booked. Most well booked lots of participants kind of match since Survivor Series 2014.

My only disappointment in the Rumble: I really wanted to see 1 spot with the Ladder after R-Truth's "moment". When Kane picked it up I was expecting him to knock somebody out... but he just tossed it. Sad
