No time to think. Just choose. And maybe explain.
And ROH counts, for those scoring at home.

Don't watch much of any indy so I'd say the Young Bucks.

Should I say New Jack, just since he's the one with the gun to my head probably?

I personally don't really count ROH anymore, so for me it's Chris Hero. He's been on a f***ing tear.

If RoH counts, Roderick Strong If it doesn't, then it's still Roderick Strong.

If we're counting ROH, Jay Lethal. My wife went with Dalton Castle. Excluding ROH however, we are in absolute agreement: Wes Brisco.
...Just joking. It has to be The Whirlwind Gentlemen. Those guys are awesome.

Jay Briscoe.
I think he's one of the best promo guys around. He's always intense and 100 percent in character.
To me the amazing thing has been watching him over the past 3 years or so as he has transitioned his look and his character from "one of the indistinguishable Briscoe brothers" to this complete badass destroyer. Lotta people I like a lot in ROH, but I can't take my eyes off him.

If we're counting Lucha Underground as an indy, it might be Aerostar.

The Prince of Pain Joe Kane, mostly because he can go out there in front of a crowd that has never seen him and without saying a word get them to boo or cheer him.

Mike quakenbush ! he's the creator of my favorite promotion, i agree completly with his idea of what pro wrestling should be and because he has a great ability both as a technical and as a high flyer

With a gun pointed at me I'll say it's whoever they want me to say it is... Unless it's Joey Ryan, then they can just shoot me.

I think the Johnny Valentine quote is "I can't make you believe wrestling is real, but I can make you believe that I'm real." Jay (and Mark) make me believe that they legitimately make a living beating people up. The guy is a throwback who wouldn't look out of place on Midsouth or NWA, and is a testament to the idea of "just turning up your personality."

Favorite would have to be Ace Perry, without question. He's not the best wrestler out there, and he's nowhere near the best talker, but he's young, and can (and I believe will) improve as he gets more time under him. Caught wind of him a little over a year ago and he's the kind of underdog I can't help but root for, and he's got a charm that's undeniable.

For consistently putting on great matches and being one of the best talkers in the business, Eddie Kingston.
If you go by active indie wrestlers who can be judged by their past, maybe Jimmy Jacobs. (He had an AMAZING feud with BJ Whitmer several years ago.)

I thought I was a big wrestling fan. There are people that will force others to choose a favorite wrestler at gunpoint!? Those guys are taking things a bit too seriously

Soon as it was stated ROH counts, I picked Jay Brisco also. Rather fitting for the topic as well, considering their theme music starts out "REACH FOR THE SKY, BOY!"
