They talked about it on legends of wrestling once. They said he was in a match and got his boot twisted around

People have brought up Col. DeBeers twisting it...Isn't there footage of that?Swear I've seen it before, possibly even on Legends Of Wrestling, like the poster above mentioned.

Off topic but related. I once had a teacher with one leg. He had a fake one, but never used it that I ever saw, plus he moved better on one than I did with two and I was 14 then. Anyway, he told us a story one year where he was playing hockey and they got to deciding if the goalie was dumb enough to leave his crease, he was totally fair to hit. So, my teacher was playing goal with his fake leg on and he left the crease, some dude ran him over and caused his fake leg to spin around on his body. The guy who hit him had no idea it was a fake leg. Turned white as a sheet and almost threw up at the sight of a goalie with one backwards leg carrying on like nothing was wrong.

My question has always been: How much of the foot was amputated? Was it removed at the ankle? I was always under the impression that it was just part of the foot that was removed.

I wish I could find that article-I was under the impression that it was a wooden prosthetic-now I really don't know anything about that kind of thing-would they even make one out of wood?

I want to say I read it in Pro Wrestling Illustrated or Inside Wrestling, but that was a long time ago.

I remember hearing way way back in the days on *Prodigy that it was pretty much 3/4 of his foot.

According to Lacey von Erich "What was left of my father's foot looked like a penis." In some shoot she talks about helping him oil it up every night.

Not at all related, but this story pops into my head every time Kerry Von Erich is mentioned. It was the early 90s at a house show up here in northern MN. Some friends of my dad and their kid had a connection where they got to go back stage before the show. The kid was like 6 or 7. Kerry was there and met the, for a photo op and asked the little kid if he thought he'd be able to beat his opponent The Genius that night. The kid said yes. Kerry replied back "That's right I'm gonna. Because we don't want any fags in the WWF.".
