The Slammy's are always terrible. Always. But to my recollection the people who won them usually showed up.
But this year? No Cena. No Brock. No Sting. No Rock. No Ronda. A completely pointless affair.
So does this year win for least attendance ever?

This is like if all the Oscars went to films where the entire cast was dead.

I cannot figure out why they didn't have Rock and especially Cena (since his was sponsored by Coke and for charity work) make a quick minute or two video. At least Rock has a busy schedule and a newborn but Cena makes no sense. Hell, Cena could have even broke the news about his return as well.

If I was an exec at Coke I'd be pissed, that the first time they sponsor the WWE it's for the Slammys, and then 3/4 of the people don't even show. Absolute shit.

I had my fingers crossed for a Sting appearance or even video to address his future, you know?
But nope.

They got Coca-Cola watching closely to see what they agreed to put their name on, and this is the effort the WWE puts out. The Slammy shows are ALWAYS shit, but this year was fresh off a WWE title change and a big rating to follow up on. I mean, they had to have known the likes of Lesnar/Cena/Rock/HHH would be possible winners and yet they couldn't even bother to have pre-tapes ready just in case, or have these guys appear in person. It's almost like they don't care, because they can just say they have more Twitter followers then them after on air.

This is like the Raw 10th Anniversary Awards where nobody showed up and a decent TLC match from six months ago won Greatest Match Ever.

The slammies are the most pointless thing in WWE. Not least because the WWE universe votes so we get stuff like Usos winning team of the year.
The show always sucks too

I felt bad for the people that paid to be there. Usually I can find the best in Raw even when the show is crap, but that was terrible.

Waited all night for the possibility seeing as it's his hometown then they play his music and his manager comes out. That's heartbreaking. His music got the biggest pop of the night too.
