I did not know that Avengers show existed. I really didn't. It looks amazing from the intro. Wow! Captain Planet. Outside of the show's message, the show sucks. Captain Planet is lame as are his child lackeys. Unwatchable, I agree. I was enjoying about five episodes on Youtube about a week ago. You were saying?

it's a shame that most people's memory of WildC.A.T.S. is that shitty cartoon, because Joe Casey's run on the book was mind-blowing.

Oh man, for the short time WildCATS was on TV, I thought it was the single most badass show ever. I made it five minutes into that episode and got annoyed by Zealot's never shutting up about the great caribou fighting style.

I have never watched WildC.A.T.s, but I have seen the opening credits on YouTube and I remember that there was a toy-line. I have read a couple of books, though, like the Alan Moore run.

Though I thought this was a fun alternate costume, the concept itself is pretty half-baked, and the art is just.. ugh

Here I got excited and thought it was a thread about crappy superheroes. I was about to extol the virtues of The Fabulous Frogman. He always makes me smile.

As many huge problems as the Fantastic Four series had, I absolutely must put over how wonderfully brilliant Simon Templeman's Dr. Doom is.
"Quite true, you insufferable blot on the escutcheon of humanity."
So good. Soooo goooood.

Templeman was a great Doom, as too was Tony Jay a brilliant Galactus:

Its funny people bring up Captain Planet. Last night my wife and I happened to be wasted and watched the theme song on YouTube. We got a good laugh out of it until I made the comment that it's only a matter of time before Captain Planet became a Michael Bay movie. That killed the mood of the evening, and we never quite got the good vibes back.
Also, count me in as an Ultraverae fan. I thought the Ultraforce cartoon sucked, and so did the Nightman TV show, but the comics were mostly awesome at best and average at worst. It's a shame Marvel is sleeping on these characters, at least some of the bigger ones like Prime, Mantra, Rune, etc.

Actually like the first season of the Hulk Cartoon The first season was really good and even won an Emmy, when they added She Hulk to the title and made it more comedic with Rick Jones and Doc Samson disappearing that it got bad and was cancelled

I thought the Ultraforce cartoon sucked, and so did the Nightman TV show, but the comics were mostly awesome at best and average at worst. It's a shame Marvel is sleeping on these characters, at least some of the bigger ones like Prime, Mantra, Rune, etc. Long standing rumor is the contracts for all the Ultraverse stuff states the creators would get a cut if anything is done with them. So that might be why Marvel has done pretty much nothing since about what 2 years after they bought Malibu. Which was either/or bought for their really good computer coloring system and to keep DC from buying them and finally getting a bigger market share than Marvel for the first time since IIRC the mid 70s. I have enjoyed what Ultraverse I have read. As it was coming out all I ever got was Prime and Sludge, love Steve Gerber and would usually buy whatever he put out. But now you can find 90% of it in cheap bins. I got at least 60 random issues of Ultraverse stuff and none of it cost me more than 50 cents an issue. Somewheres I got a full set of the non-limited Ultraforce action figures. In the late 90s local comic shop was going thru the back room and found a case of the Ultraforce action figures they got shipped years before for free. The owner grabbed all the limited ones, there was some alternate Primes and the others that IIRC were numbered and stuff, then sold me a full set cheap. For the time they came out they are really good figures. They looks good. Had decent articulation and good paint jobs. No clue how popular the carton or comic were I wasn't paying attention to either. Still need to track down Nightman. Heard it was kind of junk. But I just watched NBC's The Cape and it has to be better than that. As for my fave average 90s superhero show. Gonna cheat going live action. Saw it once or twice when it was originally airing. Then forgot about it. Until early one morning I caught an episode on THISTv's early morning kid's block of shows. Then last year got the complete series for X-mas. It is as cheesy as I remembered. But the perfect thing to show people that think they have seen/heard of every oddball tv show.

The Mortal Kombat Kartoon. Made during that weird era when they were trying to make Mortal Kombat into a somewhat family-friendly franchise by having adaptations downplay the games' blood and dismemberment, instead emphasizing the martial arts and story.

I think too many people heard the theme song (which is actually kinda catchy...to be honest) and just assume the whole thing is absolute garbage. I enjoyed it for what it was, and it was a ton better than the horrible anime style FF cartoon that came out later (I swear Human Torch and Invisible Woman could have gone around impaling people with their chins in that cartoon, sheesh).

Does that Bible Man show count?
For the record, it's suckiness has nothing to do with religion one way or another, it's just a cheaply made, bad superhero show.
