We can all agree that while Mortal Kombat on the Sega Genesis is a very good game, Donkey Kong is the best game ever. No Mario Kart 64 is the best Game EVER That's a funny way to spell Planescape: Torment.

"Derp! Nu uh Xbox ROOLZ! HALO! GEARS OF WAR! WOOOO!"

You'd think these fanboys got paid or something the way they carry on about the system du jour.

My solution has always just been to buy every game system. Usually one at the start of a generation, one in the middle, and one near the end when it is cheaper.
For this generation I just need an X-Box One to complete the set. The Wii U by far collects the most dust, but I just had to have the limited edition Zelda game pad. It is probably a great system for people with friends.

Another disadvantage of playing or owning PC Games: Most places won't sell or trade your used copies.

Another disadvantage of playing or owning PC Games: Most places won't sell or trade your used copies. This disadvantage I think is at least evened out by the fact that PC games frequently drop in price faster or are cheaper to begin with. You also have the option of mods, and a greater flexibility when it comes to playing old games. While there are technical hurdles to overcome sometimes, you don't have to worry about not owning that old console to play the game.
