Yeah he's good but he's been around for a cup of coffee and isn't featured on NXT weekly yet crowds are acting like he has been around a year and has had 5 star matches. Is it that fact he saved Jordan? I mean the team work well together and Jordan feels fresh, so maybe they see him as his Knight in shining armor?

Him and Jordan are a great explosive team with a lot of chemistry, they both absolutely kill it in the ring every single week. Chad Gable is the total package when it comes to inring skills and natural charisma however.
He reminds a lot of people of an early Kurt Angle.

The guy has insane charisma and in-ring ability for someone so early in his career. Even back when he lost a jobber squash to Tyler Breeze, people were seeing it in him.

You know how they say the best characters in wrestling come when they take aspects of their real personalities and turn them up to 11? It doesn't seem like Chad even has to turn it up, he's already at 11 and has only just started, even the in-ring aspect is completely natural given his background*.
Away from that slight hyperbole you mention he's only been around for a cup of coffee like it's a bad thing. That's not a bad thing, that's a good thing. When you tune into Raw and see the same people you've been watching for 10 years plus you realise what a welcome breath of fresh air Gable is. When he appears on screen there's a feeling of anticipation that he'll say or do something that we haven't seen before.
*As opposed to in-ring styles, appearances and gimmicks that don't fit together properly. Like people not buying Bull Dempsey when he was portrayed like a monster.

Because he's charismatic as all hell and incredible in the ring for someone who debuted in 2014.

Baffling to me why anyone wouldn't love Gable and Jordan. Great moves, explosive action, tons of charisma, dorky loveable characters and fun promos. They're genuine, fresh, sympathetic and exciting!
What more do you want?

Well, he's a great wrestler, got great charisma and he's decent on the mic. Basically, he's got all the tools to be the next Kurt Angle. And I'm okay with that.

Yeah, how can you be over if you haven't been around for years becoming stale!

Based on this thread it is because people miss Kurt Angle?
I haven't been keeping up on NXT as much as I'd like but from what I've seen the guy (and Jason Jordan who i feel is getting overlooked) are both knocking it out of the park.
Angle comparisons aside, I've already seen one person here say he is already better than Angle ever was. So maybe the hype is a little TOO overblown.

My problem with the Kurt Angle comparison is that we've already seen classic goofy Kurt and no matter how good that Gable is or what kinds of goofy things that they have him say or do there's virtually no way that it will hold a candle to classic Kurt, which was one of the most entertaining gimmicks of all time. I liken it to when Ozzy was auditioning guitarists before he went solo and a whole rack of dudes came in playing like Tony Iommi, but ultimately Ozzy went with Randy Rhoads who sounded nothing like Iommi. Basically what I'm saying is that hopefully he carves out his own character and doesn't get shoehorned into doing a second rate Kurt Angle impersonation.

Idk he does have a bit of a hipster/cool dude feel to him, not necessarily dorky in a goofy Kurt kinda way

Everything that has been said about Gable (charisma, in-ring, like Angle) I seen more in Jordan. I think JJ's gonna be a star.

Because he is always Ready and Willing? Jordan and Gable need Oscar as their manager/hypeman.
