- Team Hell No (Kane and CM Punk def. Rhodes Scholars)

March

- Daniel Bryan vs. Undertaker. Taker defeats Bryan in a fantastic match.
- Team Hell No (Kane and CM Punk def. Big E and Dolph)

June

- Daniel Bryan returns at Payback. Returns as a face. Defeats Chris Jericho
- CM Punk and Randy Orton lose to The Shield

August

- Daniel Bryan battles Brock Lesnar in the match of his life. All out brawl. Bryan taps out.
- CM Punk defeats John Cena for the WWE title. Randy Orton cashes on Punk.

Fall 2013

- Daniel Bryan battles Curtis Axel. He actually wants the IC title.
- CM Punk battles Randy Orton all through out.

December 2013

- Daniel Bryan defeats The Shield 3 on 1.
- CM Punk loses to the Wyatts

January 2014

- Daniel Bryan is eliminated in the Rumble in the weakest ways. Has beefs with creative. LEAVES WWE the night after the Rumble.
- CM Punk joins the Wyatts. The heroically leaves them, making Bray eat a go-to-sleep heard around the world.

February 2014

- Daniel Bryan rumors persist he will come back.
- CM Punk sees Batista returns.

March

- Raw in Chicago. Bryan doesn't return.
- CM Punk has to defeat Triple H to get into the main event for the title.

April

- Bryan officially done with company.
- CM Punk defeats Randy Orton and Batista to win the WWE title. Finally gets the main event Wrestlemania spot hes coveted.

Spring 2014

- CM Punk feuds with Kane. Kane brings AJ Lee into the storyline. Punk looks weak. Eventually forfeits the title to the authority due to nagging injuries.

January 2015

- CM Punk returns. Does not win the Rumble.

March 2015

- CM Punk wins the Intercontinental title in a ladder match.

May 2015

- CM Punk forfeits the Intercontinetal Championship. Future in doubt.

So, if we reversed their storylines, does this make for better WWE TV between 2013-2015?

No to both of those. I doubt you could convince Punk to even stay until 2014/5 after extending his post-2011 cool off by that much.

I really don't see how that would even work. Team Hell No would never work with Punk, who doesn't really have a knack for wrestling-style comedy. He's too dry and sarcastic for that to ever really work out, whereas Bryan does the role of "the comically serious guy" well, and he and Kane really clicked in that regard.

It also ignores that the post-Elimination Chamber portion of the Bryan storyline when they had given up on Batista/Orton and were genuinely building Bryan up to win, made for some of the best TV WWE has put on in years, and with Punk, that never would have worked. In no way would switching their places has done much of anything for them.

The only thing I think would be neat would've been Bryan vs. Undertaker and Bryan vs. Lesnar. I dare say, I think he would get better matches out of them than Punk did in 2013. Because Punk was pretty much mentally checked out that year.

Bryan vs Rock & Bryan vs Undertaker would've been nice as hell to watch, but it wouldn't be worth all the other trouble.
