Which year was better for the WWE in your opinion?
Personally I would say 2005 for the first half of the year. I was a big John Cena fan but I felt that his fan base would turn on him and they did later that year.

2005. Although that summer was when my interest in WWE waned. Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania, Judgment Day, One Night Stand, and Vengeance were all very good shows. For whatever reason, something just felt off by around Unforgiven. November was when I pretty much fell off WWE and turned to TNA more. I'd check out Wrestlemania and some shows if it was on, but it wouldn't be until 2010 and The Nexus when I'd be as invested again

November was when I pretty much fell off WWE and turned to TNA more So did I for a little bit. Back then TNA was very promising and I looked at Christian in a different light when he was main eventing.

Everywhere else outside of WWE it would be 2005. For WWE it would be 2015. The reason why indies, Japan, and TNA had a huge boom during 2004/2005 was because WWE was terrible in 2005 and it had less better matches as well. All the complaints in 2005 was eerily similar to the ones in 2015

I was a big Christian fan that year and had discovered TNA when it was on Fox Sports Net, so it was just a great match. This was also the year when I'd get messages about a far superior company emerging within an hour of me, but my 13 year old self wanted to see the WWE guys! ("Paul London's cool, but who's this Claude Castoganoli?")

2005. Which is funny, because then, everyone thought the product sucked. Ten years later, I'd love a year like that.

The Cena/Batista victories at WM got me back into wrestling. WWE made a statement that the new blood was here, and they meant it.
Reigns and Rollins may have been this year's big main eventers, but they have not broken through nearly as decisively as Cena and Batista did. Cena and Batista very clearly arrived as the best of the best, not as "the best but not as good as these 90's and 00's main eventers who are still around."

2005, but that's only because things are so poor now.
WWE has largely sucked since Wrestlemania 17, minus some great matches here and there.

Well, 2015 is certainly better for Star Wars. Too bad WWE still has its own George Lucas kicking around.

Anyone voting 2015 is kidding themselves. How so? There was never ending much needed but stale and terribly booked super man pushes of Cena and Batista, all the super talented upper midcarder guys everyone loved being fired or phased out (Christian, Jericho, Benoit, Eddie, Rey Mysterio, Matt Hardy, Booker T, etc) lots of dull PPV'S, the lowest the divas division ever was, the lowest the tag team division ever was, all the other midcard titles didn't mean shit, stigmata on anyone under 220lbs and indy darlings, almost every new guy they were trying to push was a roided hoss or a roided dude bro, and ALL THE CALL UPS FROM DEVELOPMENTAL WERE TERRIBLE AND THE ONES THAT WERE DECENT OR TALENTED WERE RUINED OR RELEASED FASTER THAN HEATH SLATER BEING SQUASHED. Plus WWE 2015 has NXT which is a WWE Brand and is one of the best things WWE has ever done. Also way more tragic deaths like Eddie Guerrero. WWE maybe stale as hell and relies way too much on part timers and old relics but the matches have been better and the current crop of the new guys ans lower card have never been better. Only reason why WWE pushed bunch of new guys was because they were forced too with everyone leaving or retiring and most were terrible. If Cena and all the part timers and established old guard left today, WWE would be in so much better shape today than 2005. Also so much wrestlecrap and barely the good kind. 10 years from now 2015 would be doing a lot better than 2005 in the polls. Cena and Batista and Orton the new guard were at their overall worst and most obnoxious in terms of their characters, mic abilities, and wrestling abilities.

I've always said that 2002-2006 are underrated years. Lots of good stuff.

2002-2005 is really overlooked. While it was filled with dumb shit like the Katie Vick angle and Lita's miscarriage, it still has some great matches and awesome moments.

I will have to say that 2005 was the year when I was getting back into wrestling, or at least the latter part of that year. One of the factors was the Raw Homecoming, which lead to me wanting to tune into Raw in the final days on Spike. Plus, there were some good PPV's that year: Vengeance, Judgment Day, Survivor Series and Taboo Tuesday are some good examples.

Compare Rosters.
The 10 Best in 2005: Cena, Orton, Batista, Undetaker, Jericho, Benoit, Angle, Michaels, Guererro (for 10 months), HHH
The 10 Best in 2015: Cena, Orton, Owens, Ambrose, Rollins, Reigns, Cesaro, Dolph, Neville, Rusev
Who wins this one? 2005 has the star power, but 2015 has the workrate?

In 2025, someone will ask the question of if 2015 was better than 2025. And majority of those responding will say 2015 while tearing down the booking and stars of current WWE. Longing for the days of Vince still running the company and Roman Reigns was on top. Hindsight makes the past easier to swallow. Because during 2005, the Net were not fans of WWE in general. It's deja vu with the same complaints and dissatisfacation.

Didn't Snitsky punt a baby in 2005? If so, anyone saying 2015 is better quite frankly doesn't get wrestling.
