So, NXT has a bunch of indie favorites that take a large portion of the hype, and rightfully so.
They also have the Godlike entity that is Chad Gable.
But who among the "lesser lights" of NXT do you mark out for or want to see succeed despite not being the typical sort of NXT favorite?
Right now, for me, it's Dana Brooke.

I'm pulling for the two Sydney girls, Billie Kay and Peyton Royce. They're kind of in that part of their NXT run where they're developing a gimmick on the house shows and doing TV jobs once in a while, but I feel like they could deliver the goods once they start getting their push.

Dana Brooke gets it for sure, she gets what it is to be a wrestler.
Unlike Eva Marie.
I'll put in a vote for The Mechanics, my personnal favorite NXT tag team. I like Gable & Jordan but the Mechanics are a throwback to something I miss.

Yeah, it's kind of hard to judge them right now until they both develop distinctive and separate personae.

If anyone ever thinks they're boring or have nothing going for them they should be reminded Sasha Banks was once in their exact EXACT same position, and look at her now.

Dana Brooke's someone who, like Baron Corbin, has made a lot of improvements, and who I hope do well.
Honetly, I hope Bull does well for himself, too.

Billie Kay I have mad respect for due to Shimmer, so she's on my list.
Jason Jordan I was into even before the team with Gable.

I can't put my finger on it, but I think Elias Sampson may become a sleeper hit in 2016.

It's maybe because she's been paired with Emma but Dana Brooke has really grown on me lately. She put in the hard work to get better and it's paying off. Not completely there yet but she's in the right direction.

Not sure if they count, but I don't care. I think the Vaudevillains are severely underrated. Simon Gotch in particular is awesome.

Alexa Bliss and Dana Brooke. The rest are good enough to be employed and on TV, but nothing really makes me want to see more of them.

I'm going rogue and saying Eva Marie. That match with her against Bayley with the WWE ref was so good. Made me wanna see a long program between the two. And seriously, good on Eva Marie for developing the way she has. I'd love to see her booed to death in future title matches.

Since a lot of people are mentioning Dana Brooke, I'll give a shoutout to Emma, who has totally reinvented herself this year, and has been a big part of Dana Brooke's rise in stock as well.
