#18 Cesaro & Tyson Kidd vs. The New Day — WWE Tag Team Championship Match (Extreme Rules) This wasn't even the best match on that pay-per-view yet it somehow made the list I thought it was a pretty kick-ass match that didn't even go that long. I'm pleasantly surprised that they remembered it. By and large, the only real problem I have with the list is that the Sasha/Bayley Iron Man match and the Brooklynn match should be switched. I get that Brooklyn had the sentimental stuff of Bayley winning the title but as an actual match, the Iron-Man blew it (and virtually every other WWE match this year) out of the water in terms of storytelling and pure drama.

I got a serious question for you all.
Say Sasha/Bayley was #1. Do you think the men on the roster can handle it? Or the old timers who are agents and producers?
Is the WWE internally that insecure, you may never see women on top?
Or was this just not the year to be #1, because I was sure it would be.

And the quality of it on a big stage has a lot to do with it. The triple threat was an awesome, awesome match. The Respect match is objectively better than Brooklyn (which is something I thought I'd never say about an Ironman match). But Sasha/Bayley in Brooklyn was a game changer. Or it should be if the E can get their head out of their collective a**es. If the guys can't handle that, tough.

I have no problem with the top two like others said. The three way is, arguably, the best triple threat match since Bryan/Orton/Batista, and single handedly saved a PPV with the worst Royal Rumble since 1999, not even counting the early 90s Rumbles.
If someone came up to me and asked what I think of when I think 'Pro Wrestling', I think Sasha/Bayley. A heel everyone respected but didn't want to win and was willing to do whatever it took to win, a plucky babyface that everyone loved and never gave up no matter what and both of them having a 15,000 seater stadium on the edge of their seat. Forget the fact they were women, it's hard for John Cena to get 15,000 people to all be on his side unless the circumstances are crafted that way.
Respect might be the better of the two encounters (I haven't seen it yet) but I always put it like this. The pre WrestleMania 29 match between John Cena and CM Punk, in ring wise, was much better than their Money in the Bank 2011 encounter. But Money in the Bank 2011 will always be superior because it had the atmosphere and the amazing story along with the great match. It's pro wrestling. The same with Bayley/Sasha from Brooklyn.
