Sup guys? After finishing up WWF 1999 PPV's, I've moved on to the next time period that I've never actually seen that was voted on by people on here a long ass time ago. WCW 2000. Again, I've never watched any of these shows so I'm sure there's stuff that I'll miss/not fully understand. Feel free share any memories you have of WCW 2000 in this thread. If you watched it as it happened, do you see some things in a different light now with the benefit of hindsight and 15 years having gone by? Share that too. The first part of Souled Out is up right here: www.freakinawesomenetwork.net/2015/12/from-the-rubble-to-the-ruins-wcw-souled-out-2000-part-1/

I'm not sure what you're going for. Rubble and ruins are essentially the same, so is it just an alliteration thing? Or are you attempting to convey a certain message?

Title suggestions: "99 Problems and Vince Russo is one." "WCW Presents 2000 Ways to Die" "From Bad to Worst: WCW 2000"

I'm not sure what you're going for. Rubble and ruins are essentially the same, so is it just an alliteration thing? Or are you attempting to convey a certain message? Alliteration was the main thing, yes haha. Beyond that, my thought process was that WCW is coming out of the rubble of 99', where business started tanking and they basically lost the war to WWF. They are heading into 2000 with the hope that they can right the ship. Of course, they don't and this year went worse than the one before it. Eventually, they become the ruins, the broken down remains of a once great architecture. ...I'm not in love with the title, either. So, please keep the suggestions coming.

Into the fire: WCW 2000.
An allusion to the term 'Out of the frying pan into the fire'. The frying pan in question being either WWF 1999 (your last series) or WCW in 1999.

I'd actually suggest the opposite: From Ruins to Rubble. Ruins infers post-destruction but some signs of structure left. Rubble (to me at least) infers that ruinous structure fell apart and there's nothing but a mess. That's 2000-2001 WCW to me. Sadly...

I love how you called out the homophobic sign guy. There was so much stuff fans chanted and displayed at shows that doesn't hold up today.
