I love the Big Guy, he's one of my favourites who i'm still pissed they never pulled the trigger on and screwed with, but he really doesn't need to do this stuff. I like that he can do it, but he really doesn't need to. He's a smasher, crusher, brawler. Destroying shit is what got him over in the first place.
I at least hope he busts these flying moves out once in a blue moon. Loses all effect if a guy his size is doing it all the time. Reminds me of a story Rhyno told in a shoot where he had a match with Chris Daniels and Rhyno was doing all the high flying stuff, and Sabu took Rhyno aside and asked him to stop doing it - because if a guy Rhyno's size is doing it, no one's gonna give a shit if a cruiserweight sized guy is doing it because they've seen someone bigger doing it and it looks more impressive.

Yet it won't stop folks from claiming he only knows a few moves. Ryback is like Brian Cage in that he is a musclebound hoss but does moves like a maxed out CAW. Ryback also has done some chain wrestling this year. Next year, he might do a 450 splash.
Much more importantly there's been no reports about someone getting hurt in a Ryback match in well over a year now, that to me is a much bigger mark of improvement than him learning to jump good.
Good for him, though I also think Rusev's been doing a good job selling for him. Besides that, outside of Rusev, I can only think of a handful of dudes I'd be comfortable with taking a plancha from Ryback. That's got to be seriously unpleasant, given not only is he heavy, he's almost all muscle. Ouch.

I recall Ryback's appearance on Steve Austin's podcast. Austin'd, in a couple of different podcasts, mentioned that guys of Ryback's size don't need to be doing splashes, et al. When The Big Guy mentions he's always trying to improve, citing the fact he's recently learned how to do a, I think, moonsault, you can just about hear Austin's unimpressed silence.

He shouldn't.
A guy his size shouldn't be busting out acrobatic moves on Raw because it lessens their impact when smaller guys do them and when he pulls them out in matches that actually matter. These moves aren't things he should be doing on a regular basis because they'll cause a lot of wear and tear to a guy his size and since he's not really flexible enough to pull them off as well as smaller guys, the chances of them going awry and injuring his opponent and himself are too great.
I'm of the opinion knowing more moves doesn't make you great, knowing how to do a few moves well is usually enough if you know when and where to use them
I don't consider doing fliipy crap "improvement". He needs to improve how to wrestle a good match that works with his look and skill set. I'd rather watch Hogan trade tests of strength and punches for 20 minutes than watch Ryback do 100 moves and still suck.
