No one chants his name, no one buys his merch. They can fix the votes all they want, but saying the fans voted for him will not make him over.
I say this as someone who likes him a lot as a wrestler, but this feels so extremly forced, that it will never work. You can't SAY someone is over, you actually have to get them over.
Kevin Owens just beat him up to slight cheers.

It has been stated multiple times by multiple people they do not fix the votes.
They could be sued if they do.

If you admit that you like him then he is over to some degree.

He loses every match. Of course he's not over.

I bought the action figure twice, so apparently he does sell merch.

It has been stated multiple times by multiple people they do not fix the votes. They could be sued if they do. Furthermore, what is gained from them fixing it for Neville to win? He's the only one in the category (unless I'm forgetting someone) that isn't getting a push. He's in a storyline with The Miz.

Blame the fans for voting for Neville. WWE wanted Owens to win.

I've been noticing this odd trend of stating you like a wrestler before you criticize a wrestler lately. It's even odder when you see way more deappreciation threads of the wrestler you appreciate. It's like that get out of jail card here.

It has been stated multiple times by multiple people they do not fix the votes. They could be sued if they do. Wasn't there a thing last year where someone proved that the Superstar of the Year award was rigged so that any vote for Dean Ambrose got redirected to John Cena while any vote for Daniel Bryan got redirected to Roman Reigns? I don't know if that ever got debunked or not, but I still find it very, very hard to believe that Roman Reigns legitimately won a popularity contest that also included Daniel Bryan, Dean Ambrose, John Cena, and Brock Lesnar. It just seems absolutely impossible, especially since it happened during a time where Reigns was getting booed by the majority of the crowds and WWE already going hard on the 'Making Roman Look Strong' train.

People claimed that the way the names were set on the touch screen made it so Roman was paired with Bryan but it panned out other than a supposed screenshot. WWE has been on the up and up for years with their voting (people's choice Mason Ryan, Matt Hardy and Rey teaming to name two) and look at the names you have against Roman, you could easily have 70% between those 4 and Roman comes out the winner.

Usos are the most popular tag team in the company but since they've reunited recently most of their matches have been quiet. It doesn't mean they're not over, it just means the crowd is bad and/or the crowd's not into it. Neville won that vote fair and square, hell he didn't even expect it no matter how over Owens is. It just goes to show you that you can't let a crowd dictate how over a wrestler is because said crowd isn't really an indication of the entire fanbase.

It certainly could be true of the people who would likely vote in these things. As for Neville, I'm sad about how his career has turned out in the main roster. I knew it would happen. It's my own fault for thinking they'd know how to book him.

Yyyyyyup. Whenever someone jumps up and down saying "it can't be fixed! it can't be fixed!!" I point to this. Then to Daniel Bryan. Then to this. Then to Daniel Bryan. Then to this. I still say it was the first time they jumped the shark with him. It was fixed. Had to be.

Roman didn't start getting boo's consistently until the build to the Rumble. Dude was pretty goddamn popular leading into his injury. The pop he got at the slammy's that year was massive as was when he returned at TLC in the Cena/Rollins table match. Yyyyyyup. Whenever someone jumps up and down saying "it can't be fixed! it can't be fixed!!" I point to this. Then to Daniel Bryan. Then to this. Then to Daniel Bryan. Then to this. It's been said by people who actually have SOME insider information which is more than just 'a feeling' or whatever. Plus there's the whole thing where they could be sued if it was revealed the thing was rigged. WWE ain't looking for trouble over bullshit awards.
